*if you are reading this please take these reviews seriously and never go to this place, ever. I went to a therapist 3 times and each session was $300! Of course they did not mention that anywhere. I did not know until I got billed. I got billed in November for my services in October. Things felt sketchy after that and I never went back. Imagine my surprise when I receive a statement in February for a session I had back in September? I would never recommend this place to anyone. After I got this shocking bill I decided to call them to get this settled and the first time I called, I used the option to keep my place in line and they will call me when it is my spot. Not surprisingly nobody called. Then I called again and the lady on the phone told me that’s what they charge and I am responsible for it. I am not sure when these bills will stop coming. It was unfortunate that this predatory practice pretends they are helping when in reality my mental health is worse from going there. I would highly recommend reading the article called “LifeStance Health: Vulnerable Mental Health Patients Burdened with Unwarranted Medical Debt from Company’s Billing Practices, Errors, and High Fees” by the capitol forum. I cannot add links to this review. But I would encourage you to do your research.

My son is a patient of Ms Dickens and she has provided exceptional care, professionalism and expertise in managing my son’s health crisis. My wife and I are extremely pleased in her treatment plans and consultations with our son who continues making fast improvements since our visits with Ms. Dickens.

Husband was charged 327 dollars for an initial appt. We have insurance! He was not notified of the charge or given a receipt. Been on hold hrs trying to get this resolved. The provider only talked to him 20 min and did not do a thorough psych eval. Do not go here,!

I made an appointment for my 14 year old daughter via zoom. The provider asked me… the adult to leave the room. I sat behind the laptop and listened to her trying to lead my daughter and created false report to CPS- I had to get my lawyer involved. Also I told her numerous times I can only have appointment what my insurance covers. She asked to have zoom call longer and I said ‘ I can only do what my insurance covers’ - she never disclosed what the fees would be and she did not look into what my insurance covers she also said my daughter is bipolar which is also false. My family has a history of panic attacks. She gave medicine that my kid had a reaction to. Please remove the $525 charge. My insurance paid what it covered. I never agreed to extra fees. And I have contacted billing since 2021- no return.

Insurance was billed $550 for the first one hour televisit session, which was an hour of a pretentious, dismissive Ivy school alum making me feel weird. Look for a local psychologist, not this scam of a company.

I was recently billed in January 2024 for something that occurred in early 2022. Unacceptable to have bills this old and not be aware of them or have an opportunity to research whether they were actually paid because it's dated so far back. I paid this bill anyway, despite its age. The payment was deducted from my Optum account for $215.00 on January 12, 2024. I received another bill in February for the same charge and service provider. I called LifeStance and the billing dept was no help at all and the only way to resolve this was by fax machine to the payments dept? Really?! No physical address, no phone number, no email, no website to send the document and show proof of payment?! Only fax. They may want to take a look at the billing dept, their processes and bring them into the future. I called my bank and they said the payment has been awaiting LifeStance to accept the online Pay request and there was no action from LifeStance billing. I requested they void this payment so I can get the money back and pay directly using a credit card instead since online bill pay seems to be too much to ask of them. I'll not be using LifeStance for future needs and sorely disappointed in services provided, outcomes and billing.

They screwed up my charges and sent me a huge bill. After receiving an itemized bill, I discovered what I needed to pay and paid that amount. Afterward, I sent countless emails and made numerous calls to confirm the $175 on my account was inaccurate. I provided detailed proof only to be ignored. The providers are good but the billing is so screwed up it doesn't make going worth it. They are trying to steal from everyone.
