My Psychiatrist Lori DiLorenzo has been great, she listens and makes sure I'm on the right meds and goes the extra mile to make sure they work as intended. Would highly recommend

This company will cause you MORE mental health and anxiety problems! Plan to be on hold for 2+ hours to speak to someone to reschedule an appointment. Their hold message says to go to the patient portal to make an appointment and this is not true. You cannot. And if you do not cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment time you will be charged $100. And if your appointment is on a Monday, you must call on Friday. AND they will charge your credit card for the $100 fee AND also send you a bill for the $100. Then you must call to get this straightened out and wait another 2+ hours. We left this company due to this asinine customer service. There are plenty of other mental health professionals that know how to run a company!

This company is terrible. Their office is impossible to get ahold of and when you do get ahold of them, they do not communicate with one another. You cannot call the local office, all calls are routed through the corporate office and the corporate office does not communicate with the different offices. I called in to cancel my appointment last Friday due to having Covid. Not only did they try to charge me a fee because it was “less than 48 business hours before my appointment”, they never notified the local office in Tampa who called and asked why I never showed up to my appointment. This is only one example of how poorly they operate. After my first appointment I scheduled a follow up. Somehow that follow up was never booked so I showed up for my next appointment and waited for 20 minutes because there was no one in the office to tell me I didn’t have an appointment. No apology from my therapist or the office despite me complaining to corporate. Find a different therapist. This place will only harm your mental health further

Don’t know how I withstood nearly 2 years here before I had enough. I was just seeing psychiatrists for medication refills. I found it odd that my “nurse practitioner” emejulu izuchukwu kept PRESSURING me to be on more medications that are not only not necessary but also I’m literally ALLERGIC to them. It’s like he only cares about the money, this man is so greedy it’s sickening! I had to assert that I will not be put on meds that WILL (according to PROFESSIONAL doctors before him but apparently he knows better than them and me, the person living with the condition for years) make me even sicker, he finally stopped but I felt so uncomfortable with him. There are some things I can ignore but the constant manipulation and misogyny was too much for me. I finally switched doctors but I needed a note from the doctor I saw the longest. It’s written by emejulu himself that I’m stable, so stable that my symptoms are “mild” yet this hateful greedy manchild said he won’t do me any favors since I’m not stable, he told me I’m too anxious, huh this is news to me??? He is clearly butthurt and showing his true colors after I finally switched doctors. It seems they will let just anyone be a psychiatrist these days. If you want quality care, run as far as you can from here. I’m currently being seen by another facility, my insurance doesn’t allow for me to get scammed into paying for late fees. The fear of this nevertheless haunted me every time. I don’t recommend lifestance or EMEJULU unless you want your conditions to worsen from the stress of being gaslight constantly by the person that’s supposed to HELP you.

After seeing many different doctors, I have finally found one that listens to me and works with me hand in hand! Dr Elizabeth Alexander at Lifestance Health in Rock Hill, SC is AMAZING! At my first visit, I was a complete mess. She made me feel comfortable and never dismissed anything I was sharing with her.

My PCP recommended I get evaluated for adhd through Lifestance. The plus side was that my insurance would cover the appointment, I could schedule an appointment that same week, and it was telehealth so I could have the appointment within the comfort of my home. My provider was terrible. He was nearly 10 minutes late and didn’t apologize. He was extremely cold, and he made me feel like I was wasting his time. “Name? Date of birth? Members of your household?” I get that you need to get basic info, but to not even speak with a hint of enthusiasm or to not make me feel like I was in a job interview? He then sent me links to complete 3 online questionnaires and kept interrupting me by asking me if I was finished yet. He then asked for my scores and didn’t explain what they meant. He then gave, with an extremely condescending tone, outdated information about adhd. After the appointment I asked Lifestance if I could switch providers because I didn’t think he was a good fit. They said I wasn’t allowed to do that and the only way I could get a new provider at Lifestance was if the provider I just talked to conversed with the new provider. It’s wild to me that Lifestance assumes that the first therapist/psychiatrist you speak to will be a good fit. I didn’t want the new provider to have a preconceived idea about me from the rude person I saw first, so I went to get my evaluation done at a different practice. On top of all of this, Lifestance overcharged me, and to talk to someone with billing took forever.

I found as an adult Lifestance.com is a good fit. The environment is peaceful. The staff took the time out, listen to my concerns and does not over medicate. Thus so far it has been a great experience. I am greatful. Sincerely, Petri
