Super happy about a recent experience I had with the customer service from Kryptonite and wanted to shout about it. So, I have a yellow New York Chain Bike Lock which I love, it's a few years old but it was getting kind of hard to lock lately. What I did was contact Kryptonite on their website with this issue and provided them with some pictures. It was fairly quick response time before they sent me a new lock under their lifetime warranty. Awesome! I will definitely be a lifelong customer of Kryptonite. Thank you!

The Anti Theft Protection is basically a scam because you can never get a reply to any emails.

The lock is brilliant and so are customer service. I have come back to edit my review (original below). Customer service got in contact with me after seeing my original review and had a second set of spare keys sent to me. I'm very happy in the way they handled the situation and informed me the delay is caused by the massive amount of people who took up cycling over the pandemic. ___________________________________________ The lock is good but I lost my keys in December 2021 and requested a new set under their keysafe programme. It is now April 2022 and no sign of them. The only communication I have received from them said they are working through a backlog and asked me not to contact them further.

I have got in touch with Kryptonite twice through their website and have never received a reply. Poor customer service!

Kryptonite's key safe program experience was disappointing. I had to follow up several times before receiving 2 working spare keys after 14 months - that's far too long.

I got the Kryptonite Evolution Lite lock about two years ago. After some light on-and-off use, the key got stuck in the lock, impossible to remove, even after applying all the tips and tricks I could find online. I emailed customer service, but got no reply, not even after getting back to them twice. For a brand that claims to be high quality, this is a borderline scam UPDATE: After a few more months, they got back to me and replaced the lock. Slow but nice.

I lost one of my two lock keys and filled out the request for a replacement on Dec 28. They acknowledged via email receiving my request gave me a case number and said it might be a while and for me not to contact them again or my request would be put at the bottom of the pile. I had never seen that tactic used by any customer service before. I twice emailed them inquiring on the status of my order hoping that an email would not put my request at the bottom of their pile. It is now January 25 and I haven't heard a word from Kryptonite. I finally found a customer service number on line and called it today. It went directly to a messaging machine. Kryptonite has perfected the art of avoiding having to interact with their customers. Based on their low rating I am not the only dissatisfied customer. Needless to say, I will never purchase another Kryptonite product.

Dreadful customer service. The "free replacement key" offer that comes with the product guarantee feels like a con. I asked for a replacement in early Sept 2021, and after chasing, eventually got a reply on 24/11 saying that a key had been ordered. Since then no key, no update, no response to chases. Hopeless
