I purchased some videogames with Kohl's online, surprised by their versatility. I would not have thought they even carried these titles, and for such a low price...yeah, well as the adage goes "the buyer beware." A week after I placed the order I tried to track it, thinking it should arrive around now. I called Kohl's and could not get a hold of any human beings on the other end of the telephone, I was just transferrered around in circle to various automated voices. Not a good sign for customer assistance. Finally I was able to fight my way through the machines and type in my tracking information, after which a recording played telling me that the status of my order was cancelled, without any explanation as to what happened on their end, and directed me to contact my credit company. Kohl's... I can plainly see that you were able to charge the amount of this order to my bank account, there's no problem with Visa or my bank. From what I have read recently online Kohl's is notorious for having misinformation on their websites, and reguarly offers products that they never sold or no longer stock. This is more than likely why my order was cancelled, they made another sale that they couldn't fulfill. I have taken a trip to their website and see that the listings for every item I purchased has been changed, nothing is in stock. 1 star for lack of organization, inaccurate product information, failure to communicate and nonexistent customer service. I am picking up the same products for a better deal at Target today. I will be filing a chargeback against Kohl's if I do not see a refund for the order they cancelled ASAP.

Incredible Idiocy I went to Kohl's a few weeks ago and ever since then I have been grabbing my clothes out of the bag and trying to wear them. Trying being the operative word. Almost all of the clothes I bought had the plastic tags on them that the employee must remove with a little machine. I can't get them off myself and it's a horrible inconvenience to have to drive about an hour away just to get them removed. I must ask, what compelled the employee to suddenly forget that he had to remove these things. I had a rather full cart but still. That doesn't excuse his laziness and disregard for proper customer service. No matter if there were two people behind me or twenty, customer service entails that you should take considerable time and effort to make sure that the customer is satisfied and I sure am not.

worst outsourcing for customer service ever! Had a UPS representative help me for an hour on the phone on three way calling to help them find solutions to the problem and try to change my address for new shipping address to reroute my package.... I was not to blame, their website was cause the address would not update in the system. When I thought it had, i hit confirm order then shortly after saw an email with incorrect address. I called immediately but OOOPS@ half an hour too late, you only get a damn half an hour to correct a mistake in the system that their website wouldn't let me do. They pushed the responsibility off on UPS.... who couldn't do anything without tracking number, the first one on the first day wouldn't track so by the third day when i looked still nothing..... finally got ups on the phone, and a very nice lady helped me and stayed on the call forever with me. We talked to two supervisors after the initial guy. They would not reship a duplicate order to the correct address, They wouldn't honor my kohls cash. and said unless they get their package back, i would not get my order and i would have to pay again. So after two hours of bad customer (whatever you call it) i asked where the call center was located and it was in monteray mexico and allen was the first guy i talked to and the second person first supervisor was a broken record with no help. The third supervisor was just an @#$hole. Rude, no solution yet again and said he could do nothing. So just to let you know there is NO contingency plan for Kohl's on how to help with online ordering. No Americans to talk to. And no common sense. I am sick of these stupid people with no power to actually help and they blamed me for the incorrect address when I clearly said it was the website. I tried numerous times!!! And in store service is far worse....its like waiting in Walmart for more lines to open. You will never see it! That's why I was ordering online. and it will not be any better so heads up!!!

Got a pair of sandals in the usual size online with a $25 gift card, $11 Kohl's promotion, I paid the balance with my credit card and shipping. Shoes were too small. Thus began the journey to exchange them--only Kohl's doesn't do exchanges. You have to return them and re-purchase, which might have been good if six calls later to get a shipping label, numerous reference numbers, and nobody at the store can do anything to make it right. Finally dropped them off at the store and got a partial credit, the manager gave me a $10.00 discount. Had to spend something today to get that. What a bunch of amateurs. I will never, ever, shop at Kohl's again. I've had easier returns on Ebay.

I ordered a suitcase online from Kohls and never got it. They admitted that it was never delivered and said that a credit would be issued to my Kohl's charge account within a week. That was more than a month ago, and I'm still waiting. When I call, they blow me off, and they won't respond to emails. So I may be out almost $200. I have been an MVP Kohls charge card holder for years, pay my bills in full each month. As the result of this, I plan to close my account and shop elsewhere. They are obviously not interested in my business.

Very rude customer service. I went shopping at Springfield Kohl's and there was this $10 off every $25. Limit was one per customer. I went with my mom and dad. She used the coupon and checked out her stuff. When it was my turn the cashier signaled an associate and that lady went over to stop me saying things like I couldn't use it because it was used on my mom and wouldn't let a word come out of my mouth. She just kept yapping on. I showed her the rules. It clearly stated that it was for each customer aka each person, not the entire family. I am an individual and so is my mom. She paused, turned red but still kept saying no and that I must come back another day to use this coupon. I was a loyal customer of Kohl's, and my a average worth of purchase for each time is like $200 or so. Must I have to have a $10 off coupon in order for me to shop here? I was mad because they set the rules but wont follow them.

Quite possibly the worst customer service (online chat and on the phone) I've ever experienced. Difficult to understand, and both reps were completely unable to understand what I was asking. I never did get resolution, and it was apparant neither one really cared whether I did or not. Website offer of a great discount for new card holders prompted me to apply for their card, then I was unable to use the coupon code for my online purchase before the deadline, because I hadn't received my card. The great coupon offer expired 24 hours after the online application was approved, but of course the card itself (with the account number) will not arrive for over a week. After e-mailing, online chat, and a very long phone call - I was finally able to use my coupon code if I let them fill the order on the phone, which resulted in me not being able to use my Ebates. The entire experience should never have happened. Once my new account was approved, I should have been given a code that worked for my online order immediately (as implied in the ad on the website - here is the actual cut and pasted post on the website ---> Apply now and upon credit approval save an extra 30% on your first day’s Kohl’s Charge purchases. ). I was approved immediately, yet attempted to use my code online for almost 24 hours (until it was getting ready to expire) before I finally spoke to a person and had to place the order that way. So much for the other items I would have purchased using that coupon code if I could have finished my shopping online. So when it comes to Kohls, and their website offers, don't believe it until you actually see it work. This has definitely affected my overall opinion of Kohls.

Worse customer service. I recently enquired regarding an extra charge on my card, and 3 people gave me 3 different answers. When I asked to speack with a manager, the representative told me that it's not going to do me any good, cause I still had to pay the charge no matter what. I told him to close my account since I have no interest in ever shopping at kohls again. I've been a customer for over 20 years, so they rather loose a customer, then trying to work it out and investigate. I will certainly tell everyone I know about this issue and ask them not to ever shop at this store again.
