Tried to purchase an item that was on cyber Monday sale first thing Monday morning and it was out of stock (discontinued by manufacturer so presumably not getting more) but miraculously it is back in stock at full price on Tuesday. When I called the online order number I could barely understand the representatives who were insisting I give my email before they could help me. They claim no price adjustment can be done. Yesteryear this was called bait and switch. Won’t be shopping there ever.

HORRIBLEEEEEE!!!! Was shopping on cyber Monday for deals. I came across good ones. So as I’m browsing at the top of the app, it tells you how many hours you have left to place your order. So around 12:55 a.m. I decided to place my order in the amount of 372. And as my order was processing the amount that I was paying had doubled almost by $300 more. So now my order goes from being $372 to $611 which means that it went through on my credit card twice. and everyone knows if a credit card company thinks that it’s fraudulent on your card it won’t let nothing continue. which I don’t blame them because it was processing one time for 372 and then in 30 seconds to a minute later it was processing for $611. In the midst of all of this, I was taking screenshots from off my phone each time that the price on my order amount changed a total of three different times it went from $372 to $611 then $595. So I have screenshots of three different amounts of the order total changing. And being I couldn’t call Kohl’s customer service so I waited until this morning at 8:30 to call customer service to speak to someone about my issues that I was having with placing my order. The first agent that I was on the phone with did not understand anything that I was asking him and I was on the phone with him for 50 min I asked to speak to a supervisor he put me on hold and came back and said that it wasn’t one available to talk to me then he said can he explain to me again and I said sure he kept on trying to explain that a pair of $20 pants for my daughter was the Change in the amount and like I told him that was not possible so I asked to speak to a supervisor again this time I got supervisor Joanne #2065. She said that she was unable to assist me at all, and that it was in the policy that she could not assist helping me fix the issue or trying to at least give me credit for the glitch that was in the system And I was on the phone a total time with her for over 20 min total time hour and 16 min trying to get a issue resolved so I called back and I spoke to another agent name was Dwayne #2CI3 and he tried to help, but it really wasn’t no help. I asked for corporate number on both occasions. Both of them told me that they don’t have that number. I asked how was I able to do a review? He told me to go on kohls.com. I wasn’t able to go on kohls.com to leave a review or a complaint.

I purchased three cardigans online in early November. I decided to keep only the black one as the navy and grey ones just looked odd. I took the two sweaters back to the store. For nearly an HOUR, three different associates and 1 manager attempted to process the return. I had the receipt. My order would come up, but the system would not allow them to return the items despite me having received them only a week earlier. I was offered store credit. In the past, I might have taken it, but this is the THIRD time in 18 months that I've had a problem with Kohl's. Three months ago, I ordered a t-shirt for pick up. I never picked it up because I had to leave town unexpectedly, but "someone" picked it up and I was charged for it. I called the store and eventually got a manager who basically told me "too bad". And the time before that I was told they couldn't process the return because the item (a polo shirt from LandsEnd) had been drop shipped? WTH? I don't care where it came from, I am returning it. I am so done with this company. Their business plan is clearly to screw their customers. I have now returned all THREE sweaters back to Kohl's and if I don't get my $67.38 credit, I will dispute the charge. Kohl's used to be my go to place for work clothes, gifts, everything... now, I can say in ALL HONESTY I will NEVER shop here again. I've heard they are having financial problems... not surprised and if they fold... good riddance!

This store chain isn’t what it used to be. Their website for ordering is terrible. It gives different delivery dates after the purchase has gone to “fulfillment” as they call it. In short if you place the order you’re shit out of luck trying to get your money, gift card amount and any Kohls cash or birthday coupons you spent on your order. All gone just flushed!

This is one of the worst companies I've ever worked for...their employee treatment is horrible. I worked as a lead on the Sephora side, and the environment became hostile. That's one of the reasons for quitting. To top it off, I wasn't payed my vacation time. They kept my hard earned money. I saved that paid time off for nothing. They are crooks and totally dishonest. It was such a bad experience that I don't see myself working or shopping for anything there again.

Kohls uses a 3rd-party, The Retail Equation (TRE), to track your return data. If TRE flags your account, you are supposed to receive a warning from a Kohls associate. (I never received this initial warning.) If you try to make another return after that, Kohls associates will be instructed to refuse your return (even if you are within the 90 day return policy and even if you are returning WITH a receipt) and you will be directed to call TRE to initiate a dispute process. The whole process is not at all transparent - if you try to contact someone at Kohls for more information (like, why weren't you given the initial warning? Why was your account flagged?) they will just refer you to speak with TRE. When you speak with TRE to ask those questions, they will just refer you to speak with Kohls. I am currently stuck with ~$230 worth of merchandise that I can't return. They claim this partnership with TRE is to prevent fraud, but I wasn't trying to defraud Kohls. I was just trying to return clothes that didn't fit me, within their stated return policy.

I called Customer Service for help with an order. After 5 minutes of what is my name and email I get asked what is the issue. At least that is what I think I was asked. The agent must sit in a large call center with the rest of India. She was so silent the whole time and the noise in the background made it hard to hear her. When she spoke she sounded medicated, but I know she is only following a process. After being put on hold many times, and being told different answers, I was never helped. I tried with the Kohls Chat, same thing. There is a process to follow, and you can't ask a question.

I ordered a Hot Wheels playset online from Kohl’s for my son’s Christmas gift and the package was marked as delivered — but the delivery photo clearly shows a completely different house and property. I contacted customer service expecting a simple replacement, but I was told there was “no option” to replace or refund it and that I should dispute it with my bank instead. As someone who has worked in customer service, this was shocking. I’ve opened a case with OnTrac and filed a BBB complaint, and I’m hoping Kohl’s Corporate will step in because I truly just want the item I paid for and never received. The deal was $50 (normally $124), and I was excited to get it for my son for Christmas. The situation should be easy to fix, and I’m really hoping Corporate can resolve this.
