Kohl's coupons are a farce. Went to the store and spent a lot of time finding 2 pairs of sneakers in my size. Went to the register with my 30% off coupon only to be told the items I chose were excluded from coupons. I was so p***ed off, I told the cashier, if that's the case, I don't want them. Lost an hour of my time looking for them.
When I went home, I checked the Kohl's website in regards to exclusions. There are now so many exclusions, it seems the only items you can use coupons for are the Kohl's house brands. If you want any national name brands, don't waste your time. If they exclude so many items, why offer coupons?

Less than disappointing — zero stars
I placed an order with Kohl’s in December. It was a gift and I had to return it. Sent it back following the directions on the package. Now I am out over $100 including the postage. After repeated inquiries and requests to their customer service with no response whatsoever, I still have no resolution. When they say returns with no questions asked they really mean it — no questions, no answers, no refunds! I am very disappointed!

I order $95.00 worth of undergarments a week ago 5/6 and got an e-mail that they had been shipped the next day, but they haven't left their shipping department yet. The shipper got a message from then on the 7th that they will be getting the order, they haven't received it yet. I needed some of the items for a wedding this weekend, so called to cancel the order since they haven't shipped it yet and lied to me. I was told I have to wait 10 business days to request a refund, and then it can take up to 30 days after that to get my refund. They are just taking and using people's money with no intention of filling orders and saying they have sent them.
Don't shop online at Kohl's they are using our money for more than a month free under the pretense of sending the items you order.

I am warning anyone with any sense to NOT absolutely NOT GET a KOHLS card. It’s an absolute headache to even log into the app, then if you try and long in through the website it locks you out even if your password is correct. I have changed my password several times and it still continues to lock me out. I was so fed up with the card that I ended up paying it off and closing it because of how much of a headache it was to have. I do not recommend getting this credit card. I got it to boost my credit score but it’s too much of a headache.

DO NOT BUY E-GIFT cards
DO NOT BUY E-GIFT cards! KOHLS USES 3rd PARTY DISTRIBUTORS FOR EGIFT CARDS AND KOHLS TAKES NO ACCOUNTABILITY IF AN ERROR OCCURS.
Despite receiving an email receipt and order number FROM Kohls, my mother never received her electronic gift card (we thoroughly checked junk mail, adjusted cookies, etc). After investing an exorbitant amount of time trying to reach someone in customer service who could assist (this experience alone would deter me from ever shopping at Kohls - the customer service number punts you to a call center in Central America which proved utterly useless with long wait times, the “online chat” is a robot with automated replies and if you scream loud enough you might eventually get a human but it took ages and sent me in circles - I must have had to verify myself and my purchase 20 times.) NO ONE had any record of my purchase. For me, in the end, it was not about securing the refund of $50, but the pure principle of this kind of corporate unaccountability. In truth, I spent upwards of 10 hrs over 3 days trying to get to the bottom of this and even went so far as to send personal emails to senior management. It was ONLY then that I received an explanation about the use of 3rd party vendors but still no offer to help remedy the situation. Eventually I screamed loud enough and someone from senior management replied and rectified things. After I suggested I was owed something for my time and inconvenience they did send me a $20 gift card. Too little too late for me, spend your money elsewhere!
Here was one reply (keeping in mind I PURCHASED THE E-GIFT CARD DIRECTLY ON KOHLS WEBSITE):
I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing so many problems. This order number (CNDUR78EWC) is not something that is issued by Kohls.com, directly. Our order numbers are 10 digits and they're all numeric. This order number was processed by a gift card service called CashStar, which we do use. Sometimes the email address it was sent to can send it to an indirect folder such as Spam or Promotions. The subject line of the e-Gift card will read "...This (name of gift card) Gift Card is Just for you!"
Please make sure that your mother adds "email blocked by trustpilot” as a safe sender or add this email address to the contacts list. She may also need to change the security settings on her internet browser to allow this card to come through, such as enabling cookies.

Not following COVID Protocol &…
Not following COVID Protocol & Professionalism
--The cashier I dealt with was both unprofessional and did not follow COVID-19 protocol. -Background of interaction: I visited Kohls to purchase pillows (4). I got to the cashier desk to pay. I asked the cashier if she could put the pillows in a bag because it was raining hard and I did not want them to get wet and start to smell. She said she did not know if she had large bags (they were behind her). She asked for the amount to be paid which I paid and then she just looked at me. I asked if she can locate bags to put them in. That is when she turned around and took two bags. She struggled to get them in and had the plastic pillow bag opening facing up which would mean they would get wet as soon as I got outside. I asked her if she can insert the pillows downward in the shopping bag so they do not get wet. She looked at me and continued to insert them and did the same for the second two bags. I took the first bag and pulled them out of the shopping bag and reinserted them with the pillow plastic facing downward in the shopping bag. At that point she shoved the second bag she was working on over to me. At that point I said to her that that is very unprofessional of her. She then said in a loud voice 'NEXT' to the customer next in line while I was still standing there trying to put my items in the bag. The next customer actually came to the small counter and stood about 12 inches from me (I was surprised they listened and did not keep a distance and went by what she requested). She took the person's item and started to ring up their items while I was still struggling to get the pillows in the bag at the small register counter. I repeated to the cashier that what she was doing was very unprofessional. At that point, the cashier came out and said to me “You are going to do what you want”. The customer standing next to me got a nervous look on his face as she continued to ramble and mumble additional comments. While all this was going on, my son was standing there next to the customer that come up close to he and I. I found her lack of professionalism unacceptable and a total disregard for the current COVID-19 restrictions protocols because she wanted to use that as a means to make me move away from the counter and she did not have to deal with me (the customer).
**UPDATE
After calling store and sending comments to Kohl's corporate, I received an email stating:
Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!

Received Wrong Items, Very Difficult to Return. No Customer Service.
Ordered 3 men's button down Apt. 9 shirts. Received shipment very promptly. However, all the items were not what I ordered. Packing list was consistent with what was in the box but not what I ordered. Colors and sizes were all correct but completely different shirt. No return label was provided, only vague instructions on mailing the items back, at my expense.
I suspect that they did not, or would ever have, what I ordered so they sent me what was available. I attempted to contact Kohl's and discovered there is no customer service. None, not bad service, none. No phone number and the chat told me it was outside normal business hours at 1:00 pm eastern. This message came up after I provided the order number.
I live in NYC and do not own a car so I took the package by train to the store in Jersey City. I did get a refund minus shipping costs for items I did not order. I looked for the shirts I wanted in the men"s department and discovered they only had the kind they shipped to me. Further evidence of a policy of just send what we have and make it as difficult as possible to return.
I have shopped at Kohl's for many years, never again. I don't know how they stay in business
Update: Kohl's refuses to publish a negative review I wrote on their website. Twice what I wrote has been "moderated" and rejected. I wrote nothing but the truth about my experience.
