Scam alert! DO NOT waste your time if you need medicine.
Just a terrible group of people. This company seemingly has no idea it wants to be, which is a shame considering the need for remote care is so great these days. I signed up during the pandemic for their "unlimited" plan, hoping to get the medicine I need for my asthma, but since day 1 it's been a constant fight to get them to prescribe anything. The last time I contacted them, against all odds, they've gotten even worse! When I first signed up they hadn't launched the "primary care" service for $19 that they have now, it was the $12 plan or nothing. However, they wouldn't prescribe anything for chronic conditions (one and done) and at the time couldn't tell me how to get the care I needed. I think they wanted me to go trade my illness in for another one or something, because they act like I'm requesting something completely crazy by needing medicine at all. The primary care plans are out now, so I was going to try that service out however I'm not going to bother after my experience the today. Recently I got a chest infection and went to the urgent care portion of the app thinking this would be a piece of cake, i just needed an antibiotic and possibly prednisone, the same thing I've been prescribed all the other times I've had this problem. Last time in fact, they prescribed it. Now though, they outright refused to talk to me, told me to go get seen in person because they couldn't listen to my chest. I guess they think I'm trying to perform some heist to make off with a single course of antibiotics. They act like they're doing something responsible by not prescribing me medicine that I need. The reason antibiotics need to be conserved are for people at risk, like say, ASTHMA PATIENTS LIKE MYSELF. If their position is the customer is always lying, and they are unable to verify anything in person I guess that means they prescribe nothing? You might get some ibuprofen out of them if you have a mild headache, but better hope it's not a migraine or they'll tell you that you need to see a neurologist and that the pain is all in your head. They seem to be really good at charging me the $12 a month though, I've paid for 12+ months and they've said no to every request i've ever made, except a couple of times after immense effort I was able to get a prescription. I just don't understand what niche they think they are filling or WHY they think someone would pay for their crappy service. The "doctors" will hang up on you if you try to protest anything by the way they must be too busy with "real" patients to bother doing anything except taking a few bucks out of my bank account every month. Hopefully there are some companies out there that are actually helping people not just taking advantage of them. I'm going to charge back every month I can from this company and sage my phone to cleanse it of this rot.
