So I dropped off my ring with Kay Jewelers around the first of September to have it resized and soldered and the promise date to be back was supposed to be 9/26/20, but it didn’t come back till 10/3/20. So we went to go pick it up and when we get there my rings aren’t soldered together, so now we have to send it off to get soldered together which should have been done the first time to begin with, so now my promise date was 10/11/20 and it doesn’t come back till 10/16/20, so we go and pick it up and the soldering job is very sloppy, but I just leave it be. Well I wear my ring ONE day and the biggest diamond in my ring falls out within 24 hours. So my husband goes back and checks his email cause we got curious about the ring and as he’s checking his email he realizes all the pics that came back all had different characteristics marked on my diamond. So we call customer service to be told when the diamond came back the same characteristics should have been marked again, as it only makes sense so we can make sure it’s the same diamond that was sent off. We also ask the store we drop it off at why different characteristics are marked and they say it depends on who takes the pics, they may spot different characteristics and mark those, which makes absolutely no sense considering we wouldn’t be able to tell if the diamond was mine. Well now at this point my ring is now going to take up to 6 weeks for the LARGEST retail of diamond jewelry in the WORLD, Signet Jewelers to source a freaking diamond. And to top it all off the diamond swapping team should have called us back in 7-10 business days, it’s been over 10 days and still no call back. This is the SECOND time customer service hasn’t returned our call. At this point I’m ready to call my lawyer to handle all of this. Gina Coleman Drosos you my dear need to get your company together, maybe Claire Drosos can relay this message to you, cause I’m over your WHOLE company. the worst online store. I order a ring to be delivered to my closest store, my bank account was charged and the ring was never delivered, it was sent back to the home store because they couldnt found the address of the store..how if it was sent from store to store the delivery company didnt found the address???

Overpriced. I have purchased some gold chains from them where they advertised as solid but they were hollow. Bad deal.

The necklace my mother purchased at the Sebring Kay Jewelers had a small clasp and she asked the sales associate if a larger clasp could be put on. She said yes and told her that it would be available for pickup in about two weeks. She explained that times were a little extended due to the pandemic. We of course understood that and were accepting of the two week timeline. Donna was very nice to us and I want to put an emphasis on that. This is not a complaint about her. I had purchased a ring at the same time my mother purchased her necklace. I needed it resized so they were sent off together. I went to the store to pick up my ring and her necklace after the two weeks and my mothers necklace was not there. The sales associate Amber contacted my mother via phone to inform her that there was nothing wrong with her necklace. My mother acknowledged she knew that there was nothing "wrong" but that and it was sent off to have a larger clasp put on. My mother expressed to me that Amber was not very helpful on the phone so I went to the store with her to sort this out (about 2 weeks after the phone call with Amber). When we arrived Amber greeted us dressed very inappropriately. She had on what looked like yoga pants with a tank top and a cover up. This tank top was a lace front and was cut down to about her navel. I'm not sure if that is a new sales tactic Kay Jewelers is encouraging, however, I am not impressed. Not only was she dressed unprofessionally, but her demeanor coincided with this attribute. My mother was frustrated, with good reason, but remained professional (this is now 1 month + after the purchase date). Amber did not empathize with the situation and was rude to us. She made us feel as though we were an inconvenience. Regardless of the poor customer service we left thinking the situation had been handled. It is now 2 months + after she purchased the necklace and she still has not received it. She has not been contacted about the status of her necklace and has made two payments towards the item on her credit card. I have had such a horrible experience at the Sebring store I do not plan on shopping there again in the future. This was my original review (with 5 stars): I had a fantastic experience at the Kay Jewelers in Sebring, Fl. My mother and I stopped in after brunch to pick up a pair of earrings I had sent off for repair. The customer service was excellent. My consultant (I think her name was Donna) was very friendly and knowledgeable. After I received my earrings back my mother and I decided to browse around a bit. The consultant was prompt in aiding us. She made the experience fun and relaxing. We both made purchases and she helped us find the perfect pieces to suit our individual style. Excellent customer service!

I wish I could give them less than one. Poor customer service, rude staff. Will never shop here again.

Will never buy from kay jewelers ever again I will take my money else were from here on out shipping sucks last thing I will ever buy from you guys

Don’t even want to rate this store. Took my pearl ring to get fixed. Had it 52 years. Broke the pearl, repainted it and said they won’t do anything about it. Never go there! Don’t buy anything! Stay away from this store! They sell junk! It tarnishes and then they say it’s your fault. They sell junk!

This location is absolutely terrible. I walked in to try and get my necklace chain repaired that my fiance bought for me a while back. I have my engagement and wedding band purchased from kay so obviously we shop there often. The gentleman there I could tell did not want to help me. He couldn't find the transaction for which the necklace was purchased but decided to help anyways which was fine but he made it seem like I'm such a bother to his day. All I needed replace or changed was the chain, there was nothing wrong with the pendant. They didn't offer another one in store, they didn't offer to change it out nothing, just to send it in. Now I've never had to get my necklace fixed before so I didn't know that I could keep my pendant. BUT THEY DID AND DIDN'T TELL ME. The time comes for pick up date and I go in and tell him hey I'm here for necklace and the lady there completely blew me off. She didn't even try to look it up, the status, anything just no we'll call you, to which they didn't. So my fiance is pissed because its passed the promise date and they refused to help at all. After him calling to find out they "lost " my necklace. It never made it to the repair shop. HOW THE HELL DO YOU LOSE IT?? AND THEY OFFER NO EXPLANATION OR ASSISTANCE TO FIND IT. This place is the worst, don't ever shop at this location. They will treat you like crap and then steal your jewelry because I'm sure that's what happened. They "lost" it. 🙄
