I signed up my phone number for 50 dollars off and nowhere did it say that i would not be able to apply the 50 dollars off to my purchase item. Spoke with 4 different people about it and got nowhere. So i was not able to use the 50 dollars off promo code even though i signed up my phone number. It is very deceptive and misleading. I am very disappointed.

Customer service is terrible.
Customer service is terrible.
Had to send a new wedding ring back for repair. "New" not even owned for a month or worn for 2 weeks.
With months of emailing back and forth before I received a mailing address even though I purchased the expensive life coverage of the ring.
Now I have to pay shipping and insurance on this "new" ring.
Hopefully it comes back to me. At this point I would not be surprised if it either takes a year or we just never hear from them again.
People are superstitious. When you start a vow with a ring that breaks in week one or two you're gambling with your future. Luckily my fiance is understanding.

Lack of concern for issue with account…
Lack of concern for issue with account reporting, legal team unwilling to follow through with request for communication and follow up regarding incorrect reporting and privacy breach of information. Requested Kay Jewelers legal team to call us directly to resolve. Unwilling to do so, numerous phone calls requesting legal team to reach out, proved unsuccessful in resolving the issue to prevent future contact about their customer service / credit reporting info.

Terrible staff and customer service
Purchased a ring online to ship to the store! It sat in there locations for days until I had to call them to ask when I could pick it up! They proceeded to tell me if was damaged in transit. Well that sucks obviously and it’s not Kay’s fault on that. But why should I have to call them to receive that notice?!
For them to tell me to call another number and and figure it out because they don’t have a clue what’s going on! The email I got was even better telling me it will get re sent out to the store. That’s great and all but at this point I don’t trust you people! No where in the email did it say a ship date or when I will receive the ring! Well I ordered it for an anniversary that is today! So I emailed them back asking all these questions and they can’t seem to answer a simple email! I’m glad I didn’t spend thousands at that store!

These people are the biggest rip off…
These people are the biggest rip off artists there are! It doesnt matter if you make your monthly payment on time, because the interest rate is so high you will never pay it off. My monthly payment was $84, the monthly interest was $62, so I was literally only paying $22 towards the balance (which was all interest because I paid the rings off a long time ago) and when I called to make a settlement payment they would only settle for 80% of the balance owed, which again was just interest.
I also reported them for constantly calling and saying I was 2 months behind when I wasnt. They called me 7 times in one day, Saturdays, Sundays, just constant, and you can never understand them because none of them can speak ENGLISH worth a shit.
I will NEVER buy anything from these crooks ever again.

If I could do zero stars I would
If I could do zero stars I would! I ordered twice off the outlet website just to get both orders cancelled because of "inventory issues"! This first ring I understand because it was previously owned and sold out fast but the second ring was brand new and my confirmation email was in "bring perfectly crafted" for weeks up until the supposed ship date and the order was cancelled again!! Never purchasing from them again!

I am sorry to inform you about the…jewelry purchase
I am sorry to inform you about the service and behavior that took place on August 1-30- 2026 in Montgomery Ala I was not aware of any issues that I would have with a bracelet my purchase for our anniversary would cause a huge problem with the manager at the store in Montgomery Ala, my had broken and my husband and I took it to a jewelry store in Greenville Ala where we live, we assume that the bracelet was ok, but it came apart again, so we brought it to the store in Montgomery Ala where we explained to the manager what had taken place, I was belittle talk to in a very derogatory manner and tone, we spent a great deal of money at your store, I don’t appreciate how we were treated, with that attitude of the manager we was told that she would fix it this time, but she would not the next, I was so hurt and confused about the situation it had taken me some days before I could recover we want ever purchase anything at a Kay’s jewelry store again, the store in Prattville Ala treated us with dignity, and was grateful for our business and if any one asked me about what happened I would say just be careful of those people
Thank you
Respectfully Percy Simpson

This is why I order online and DON'T deal with employees....
I have ordered from Kay Jewelers online in the past, which usually allows me to get exactly what I want while avoiding unexpected add-ons or upsells. For my anniversary, I selected a pair of earrings online, but because store pickup was listed for the following day, I decided to just walk into the local store to make the purchase in person.
The sales associate helped me find the earrings, which were on sale for around $112. However, my final total came out to just under $200. Looking closer at the receipt, I realized I had been charged for a stone warranty and additional insurance coverage. No one ever asked if I wanted these protection plans, nor was I informed they were being added to my total. The staff simply assumed I wanted them and added them to the ticket without my consent.
While this was a smaller purchase and not worth a major dispute, the sneaky sales tactics were enough to lose my business permanently. I will never shop at Kay Jewelers again. It is a shame, as I currently have a son shopping for engagement rings, around $5,000 earmarked for holiday jewelry purchases, and a habit of buying spontaneous gifts for my wife throughout the year. That business will all be going elsewhere.
