Kay JewelersReviews of kay.com

While getting my wife’s diamond ring routinely cleaned and maintained, Sabrina Townsend went above and beyond by giving the ring the attention it greatly needed! My wife has gone to several Kay locations for service but Sabrina at the Outlet Shoppes located in Simpsonville, Ky will be the person involved with the maintaining and purchasing of our current rings and any future jewelry! thank you again, Sabrina! Wow, absolutely NASTY people! I went in to make an adjustment to a bracelet I bought last week. I have never ever been treated this horribly at any store. I was stunned at the level of nastiness for no reason. So insanely rude and horrible service. I am still trying to understand why I was treated that way. I just can't understand it. PLEASE DON'T EVER SHOP HERE!

I will never order from them they get your money and when you get the item it is already damaged. This was my first time ordering through them and i will never order through them ever again

I purchased a ring on line, it was a special 75% off diamond wedding band, the purchase was on July 6th. They sent me an email on July 15th stating they canceled my order because of stock issues. Didn't offer an alternative, nothing! I believe it was a fraudulent advertisement and they either never had the product or never intended to sell the ring at that price! I will never purchase again from Kay jewler ! Do better Kay and buyer beware!

I will not be shopping at Kay Jewelers again. While the jewelry itself was fine, the financing experience and lack of customer service completely overshadowed my purchase. I signed up for the 0% promotional financing, only to discover that an Assurance/insurance product had been added to my account without my knowledge or consent. There were also fees associated with using the promotional financing. As soon as I noticed these charges, I paid the account off in full. I repeatedly asked customer service to provide documentation showing that I had authorized the insurance coverage, but they never provided any proof. Instead, they continued to tell me that their records showed I had enrolled, without directly answering my questions. They also refused to refund the approximately $75 in charges. What disappointed me most was their lack of customer service. They were willing to lose a customer over $75 rather than address my concerns or provide the documentation I requested. I expect honesty, transparency, and accountability from a company, and unfortunately, that was not my experience. I would encourage anyone using their promotional financing to carefully review every charge on their account.

Don't use their interest free program with their credit card. I used it twice... the first time was okay. The second time they started charging me a $2.99 fee for paper statements. I had set up automatic payments to pay off the exact amount I should have owed for the zero interest period. Because I didn't see that shitty fee, they ended up charging me interest for the entire amount. Customer service was useless. I will never shop in a Kay jewelers again.

After being a customer for 5 years I was always hit with a little bit of interest no big deal this year I was hit with $400 interest for this month an was told it was going to be $60 to $70 a month interest after that ! So I paid it in full and today I was told I still have to pay interest even tho I have a zero balance I will be closing my account after I get my statement !Don’t buy nothing from them if you do pay in full cause you’ll over pay by the time your done

I purchased a pair of earrings from the Vera Wang collection at Kay Jewelers as a gift for someone. Upon gifting the earrings I was informed the earrings would not stay closed. I reached out to Kay Jewelers and informed them of my situation. The first question I was asked if I purchased the warrantee on the product. Then I was asked if I wanted to return them. I just wanted the earrings repaired because I really liked them. That was not an option offered. The individual I had gifted the earrings to was only able to wear them once because they open and fall off. I took the earrings to an outside jeweler to see if they could be repaired and was informed they could not repair them because they were costume jewelry. I called Kay Jewelers back and told them what was told to me and stated I am willing to pay for the repair I just wanted the earrings to be fixed and put an end to this nightmare. I was suggested to bring them back and let the jeweler on site examine and determine if they can be repaired. If Kay Jewelers sells it they should repair it regardless. I was really hopping I would have been told bring them in and we will repair them because we value our customers. If you sell it, fix it. I now have a pair of earrings that still may not be repaired and I will have to accept that I have been taken advantage of and will have no resolution with the earrings. I just was given a gift for mothers day from Kay Jewelers and will be returning it because I no longer am interested in owning anything else from Kay Jewelers and will advise my friends, family and loved ones not to purchase from them either in efforts to avoid a similar situation and disappointment from such a large company. We all work hard and want resolution and satisfaction when something goes wrong with a product. Totally disappointed and unsatisfied!!
