The treatment was very helpful and I was able to avoid taking psych medication. I was able to process through a very difficult season of life when my husband had an affair. I could separate from the pain long enough that it wouldn't overtake me and warp my joy or view of the world. This medication coupled with therapy is a must. I am grateful!!

Joyous allowed me to rethink my depression and anxiety treatment altogether. The platform is simple and easy to use, and the people I’ve interacted with have all been kind and professional. Ketamine therapy has helped me through a tremendously difficult season of grieving, on top of major depression (and adhd). I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I’ve had a mix of experiences with Joyous Therapeutic Ketamine. While I found success with their program and generally felt treated with respect by the customer service team, my recent experience has been deeply concerning. After being a long-term customer and receiving care for a year and three months, my medication was abruptly discontinued without prior notice, just days before my prescription was set to run out. They made sure to process my December payment first, which is fine—if they need it that badly, I won’t bother fighting about it. There was no proper discussion with my doctor. Instead, I received a letter abruptly ending my treatment, leaving me scrambling to find a new provider. This decision, made without any consultation, felt highly unprofessional and unethical. Cutting someone off from medication they’ve relied on for over a year, without a proper transition plan or support, is not how ethical medical care is handled. I was left confused and unsure of what had happened. I later learned that my participation in a trial with another provider—something I had confirmed with them would not conflict with my Joyous program—was the reason for my discharge. Admittedly, this was my mistake for trusting the other provider, but I wasn’t aware that this would lead to such drastic consequences. To make matters worse, I didn’t even complete the trial. After just three low-dose sessions (in which I consumed no other medications), I stopped because it wasn’t a good fit for me. Joyous does have a policy regarding participation in other programs, but it’s buried in an FAQ disclaimer on their website. It’s neither obvious nor easy to find. Patients deserve to have critical policies like this stated upfront, not hidden in fine print. It’s essential to make these rules clear during onboarding so patients can make informed decisions about their care. If I had known this, I could have paused my treatment or reached out for guidance. Lastly, while the customer service representative I spoke with was respectful, they were not equipped to address my concerns meaningfully and were not connected to my doctor. After a year and three months of treatment, it’s disappointing that my questions and concerns weren’t handled with the professionalism or empathy one would expect in a therapeutic setting. I hope Joyous reconsiders their approach to patient care, particularly around transparency and how they handle treatment transitions. Patients deserve clear communication and better support during such critical moments.

Low Dose Ketamine treatment through Joyous has been the best thing for my anxiety and depression in my life time. My family noticed the changes first and within the first couple of months I started to notice my change in mood for the better. Couldn’t recommend this program enough to people who are struggling with anxiety/depression.

Joyous literally saved my life. I was on a very dark place after a couple of traumatic experiences. I tried IV ketamine and it helped but was very temporary and expensive. With Joyous the microdosing works wonders. Depression is so much better and it is amazing for anxiety. It's a better option for me personally than pharmaceuticals that you have to the daily. I like I can control the dosing and can skip days. The care team and customer service are amazing!
