This company is very dishonest. Do not buy this machine from them. My husband was cheated by their dishonesty and it cost us money to repair the machine that we could not afford. We had the machine for 4 months and parts started breaking, they would not help us even though we barely had any hours on the machine. Do not buy anything from this company.

Love the units but mine is way to heavy and want to trade in for the lighter one. Wish someone could help me do this.

This is turning out to be somewhat of a nightmare I purchased the Inogen 1 initially it worked well although I kept in pluged into the car while driveing then as I used it while walking after 6 month of use it started making a loud rough running sound I went with it for a while until it started shutting off and I'd have to let it cool off before stating again, I psid for $3500.00 for the device with a lifetime warranty I was told. They sent me another device UPS left it at the door I'm glad it was there when I returned home. It took 48 hrs. for delivery. The new device was refurbished it was just as loud. I have since called back to replace the second device I was told when I bought that I would have to replace the battery $(495.) after 500 hrs. of charging and the device would be a lifetime warranty well there's more to it that meets the eye Beware it gets even more expensive you also have to replace the inside filter ($70.) which is a big piece of the unit. The sales rep I spoke with today was very helpful Inogen one is good for short trips. Make sure to ask questions to sales rep. they are ony there to make a sale. It's expensive so do your homework you own it after 30 days.

I am in my 20's and am using oxygen, I couldn't handle the tanks. They didn't last long enough, and I use public transportation - I can't carry around multiple. My doctors office called Inogen, and informed them that my insurance company would only cover rental and I was concerned and would prefer a purchased unit. Financial situation was discussed as far as concerns of cost, I was informed that the Inogen rep did tell the physicians office about authorized Inogen dealers who may have refurbished units. I purchased a refurbished Inogen G3 from an authorized dealer, although bought my particle filters extra battery and extra columns from Inogen directly. I had all of my questions answered by Inogen about the G3 prior to going to the dealer, and was not put under any pressure to buy one from Inogen directly when I said that I needed cost wise to go with a refurbished unit, but wanted to inquire about the machine itself, as I was previously considering a Philips oxygen concentrator. I'm glad I got the inogen! I have no issues going to the gym, going for activities, and leaving home taking this. I'll take it and put an extra 16-cell battery in my backpack, having 3 in total really makes a difference. I'm really interested in later buying an inogen home unit to replace my invacare.

Loved my initial contact and working with James. Not so much with 24/7 emergency representative Jennec(?). Called 10/26/19 because my Inogen making very loud noise, she asked to listen and determined I needed a replacement unit. She said a replacement would be shipped to me within 24-48 hours. I doubled checked with her I would have the replacement in that time period of 24-48 hours and was assured I would. Called back to 10/27 finally spoke to someone after 3 tries to be told nothing ships on the weekend. I need this to continue working! So now I have to miss up to 2 days of work because of misinformation. I am to say the least not happy at all.

haven't used at night yet.. use kit every day when I go out works great.. went on a all day trip the other day had it on charge while in the car was fully charged when we arrived so I was good for the rest of the day put on charge on the way home got home and was fully charged when I arrived home...best thing I ever bought ,,Ronald r.

I have had my Inogen 4 for almost a year and I love it. Some people don't read instructions well enough. You MUST plug into outlet THEN to the machine. True batteries do not last long enough on the three setting. But to me worth it. Customer Service has been nice to me. Randy Tabor who sold me the machine when I called them was awesome and helpful. Would recommend it to anyone needing oxygen on the go or home.
