Tell The Truth Salesfolks, I was treated so badly by the sales folks. They didn't know simple questions and I found out all this after I bought it. If it is put down at an angle it shuts down, if i put it in a grocery cart it beeps if I put anything that blocks the airflow to 1 side of the bottom. Even 1 can of beans and the child leg opening on the cart up. I asks how does it know that the cylinder is no longer functional and it cost about 500 bucks to replace and I have to do it. They never did tell me how and it isn't in the manual. 1year 500 bucks. I do feel more safe with it. Oh another thing my salesman kept saying I know everything about Stage 4 COPD. Lie #2.

its great to be able to leave the house without carrying a big tank. I'm able to resume almost all my normal activities

I have not needed it yet. But this week i will be rving above 5000ft and then I will need it. Heading to Co and Ut. Hopefully it will work, and I am sure it will....hopefully.

I do like my Inogen, but there are a few things that could use improving. The first thing is that where the tube connects to it is constantly kinked, its needs some type of a spring or something to keep it from kicking in that exact spot. Also it is kinda heavy and the battery doesn't last long enough, constantly having to switch batteries is kinda a pain. It is very mobile, I love that part but a few adjustments would be great! Would have liked some follow up after purchase. After sale your rep stop calling me back after I left massages for her. She also promised things I never received. Also my unit gets so hot it's very uncomfortable on my body where it makes contact

I really like my Inogen portable oxygen. However, I think the waist belt should be an option and not included in the package deal. It is way too cumbersome for a small person. Also, the backpack should be described as big enough for a weekend trip of clothes in addition to holding the portable. Although it is convenient to travel and shop, carrying the portable on my shoulder, and a purse, can be heavy. Inogen should make a small packback that would hold only the portable, and have some kind of compartment to store the tubing when not in use. One final note, the customer rep that sold me my portable, was friendly, knowledgeable, & has a great personality. However, when I contacted him regarding a return, he never answered my calls. To date, I still have not heard from him.

This unit does not give me the freedom your advertising portrays. It is so heavy that I cannot breathe when I carry it. Also, it is so noisy I can't take it to church, movie theater or anyplace where the noise of it will be distracting. I am so disappointed in this unit and am sorry I purchased it.

I have owned the G5 since Feb, 2020 and it works as advertised. Satisfied with battery life although I wish it were lighter. I use the smaller battery most often. I find using a 4ft cannula much easier to manage. Quieter would be nicer but know product design is always a trade off. Weight, battery life, noise and cost issues can only be improved at the expense each other without better technology. I never use the remote app since it doesn’t control the settings. If it did, I’d likely use the backpack more often. It has been reliable, really hope it stays that way.
