I am so glad I was able obtain my unit-it was such a good deal to begin with the day I called and spoke to Peter Albee-he was so helpful-made me feel at ease talking to him right away. I had been using metal tanks to take out of the house-very heavy hard to handle am on oxygen 24/7-have a concentrator in my home which will recharge these tanks-My Inogen G5 is a blessing I just love it.

Product it ok… BUT the company is horrible!!! The hate customers and their distributors. They only care about lining their pockets with your money. Ultra slow on repair, so you want to buy a spare. Delay shipments to their distributors so people have to buy direct from them. Overall look for a different brand if you want an overall better experiance.

I am happy and grateful to find that this little machine works so very well. I can easily take it with me when I go out or set it up in my bedroom for a quiet peaceful night. It is a great invention and I appreciate it. the battery is heavy, but I can manage it and the long life allows me a great deal of freedom.

My main complaint is with the carry case. It is not designed for wearing comfortably. A solution is to evaluate a successful woman’s crossbody handbag and incorporate. Also involve a woman in the design of the case; I’ll bet there wasn’t one in the present design.

I generally like my concentrator. It is small and lightweight. It does not impede my skiing or walking too much. It improves my oxygen concentration but does not get me up above 90 when skiing at elevation. I feel better but I still struggle a bit for air and if I use the highest setting I can burn through my batteries quickly. My doctor did warn me the pulse nature of this device might not be optimal but I am not shooting for optimal. I am shooting for feeling better. And in that regard it’s great. One downside is that buying extra batteries etc are expensive. They are cheaper on EBay but then you get what you pay for, the cheaper batteries generally don’t last as long. On the whole though I’m satisfied. My life is better with this.

The Inogen 5 meets my needs totally. Having a problem for the last month. The battery life does not show anymore when running. It was and I use this to monitor during work outs at the gym. I have to keep my oxygen up while doing low impact exercise getting ready for a double lung transplant. I am going to try and call the help line today as it stopped twice while exercising today at the gym.

Sara was very thorough and went through each plan with us. She also followed up with us and made sure everything was correct and delivered. She was patient and kind. I have recommended her to my doctor for future referrals of his patients.

Not happy with the tight case, hard to change batteries. Batteries do not last long, very poor.
