I cannot stress enough, run. There is no way out of the contract, and you will pay double for any vacation you do have if you sign. The only way to get rid of them is to let them foreclose on you, and your credit is crap for 7 years. Please, just run.

CLASS ACTION fraud misleading SCAM BEWARE
The good news is, I did not get hoodwinked, after having experienced every single manipulative psychological trick in the book to get my family to sign up for Holiday Inn club vacations timeshare. Then they gave us $200 cash and 25,000 “points“. It turns out you can just buy these points. Yes, the very points that they promise to give you if you join the Holiday Inn club vacations program. So for $40,000, they will give you 200,000 points a year. But don’t forget, you owe $2000 a year as well in annual fees. Oh, it turns out the $2000 in annual fees is actually the cost to buy the points. So what is the $40,000 for? Someone has to pay the sales people! That’s you! You are giving the salesman a good living, but if you don’t want to give the salesman a good living then simply wait until the points go on a massive 80% discounted sale which happens a few times a year, and spend a couple thousand dollars to buy points, and there you go, you just saved $40,000. What can you do with the points? Well, no one will give you a straight answer. We did login and go to the shop, to see what we could buy with points, and for 20,000 points we could get a small plastic dog bowl. Does that give you a good idea of what these “points“ are worth?

This is a terrible terrible company
This is a terrible terrible company. When I signed up for the vacation deal with the two hour presentation, they went on and on about their amazing resorts and how my family would enjoy the resort tremendously. When I called to book dates, they said that the deal was only for satellite hotels NEAR the resort but not for actually staying at the resort. So instead of staying at a resort, they would book my family at a local Holiday Inn express!!! When I asked for a refund, I was told that no where in the paperwork does it say you will be staying at the resort!!!!

STAY AWAY - YOU WILL REGRET!!!
We booked a 3 night deal ($249) at Orange Lake Resort in Orlando, FL in exchange for a "2 hour tour" time share presentation and $100 cash. It all started badly when we checked in and were placed in a room that overlooked an indoor atrium. No natural light whatsoever, so we switched our room the following day for a view of the nearby lake.
Here's where things really went downhill.
We hated the tour and being disrespected of our valuable time. Our tour was scheduled for 10am and we made very clear that we had a 1pm appointment elsewhere. The tour lasted 3 hours and we were further disrespected of our time by the Manager “Jose” who was more self absorbed and wrapped up in his little world by keeping us there longer and presenting more useless timeshare options for us to consider. HORRIBLE and unexpected experience and not to mention the terrible room we were placed into. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! I will post this across social media channels so that others stay away from this disrespectful organization. I will also escalate this to Senior Management at the corporate level so they’re clearly aware of the abusive and inconsiderate business practices. Hard to believe that this dump has the Holiday Inn name/brand behind it.

Total SCAM
I would give zero stars if possible. Holiday Inn Club Vacations is effectively a scam. After getting sucked into a "short survey" following a stay with an IHG property for rewards points, I was "offered" a vacation package at one of their resorts. And by offered I mean it was a high-pressure sales call where I was given basically no chance to do any research and suckered into signing up. This package included a "2-hour tour" of one of the resorts as part of a timeshare sales pitch. After finally booking our stay, they screwed up our reservation more than once, failed to ever communicate anything with us without us calling them multiple times, and more than once implied my wife was too female to understand anything. We finally did some research only to find how their "2 hour" sales pitch turns into an entire day being effectively held hostage until you pay your own ransom by buying a timeshare. I'll note here that in their original sales call for the vacation package they made a big deal out of how you're supposed to get paid for the tour, because what actually happens is they won't pay you until you sign up. After having our entire package "accidentally" modified to a different week at a different location, we had had enough and cancelled the trip. When I called to cancel, the agent tried to slip an additional "rebooking fee" into the cancellation because he assumed I'd be rescheduling the trip. After I said to cancel the package multiple times.
Please be very cautious with this predatory company. Their entire business is built on one of the worst industries already as a timeshare company, but their sales agents are all awful as well. I really can’t tell if their agents are stupid, or really that monstrous. Do not get suckered in; avoid at all costs.

I was locked out of my account
I was locked out of my account. I reset my password multiple times successfully yet I still am unable to login. The customer support hours are limited 9am to 7pm Whoever heard of a multi-national corporation not having 24-7 technical support? I am not in the same time zone to my availability does not match their operational hours so I stuck until I get home. This is very unacceptable for a major corporation. I would stay far away from doing business with a company that has such poor customer support.

I would like to give a negative rating
I would like to give a negative rating. When I had to change my reservations due to work, I was charged a $20 fee that took less than 1 minute to cancel. No customer service.
Way to go holiday inn! I will never stay anywhere that has your name associated.
