Our experience dealing with Holiday Inn has been an absolute nightmare. No availability and high prices. They locked us into a contract and refuse to let us out, so I strongly advise against anyone signing up with them

Holiday Inn Club Vacations uses deceptive, high-pressure tactics to trap consumers into timeshares that quickly become severe financial burdens rather than the promised retirement assets. They intentionally rushed us through the closing process to obscure the actual terms, leading to drastically increased fees and zero actualized benefits since we signed. The company flatly refuses to release us from this contract, making this "investment" a complete liability that everyone should strictly avoid. There has to be a way out of this that will not cost you your life’s savings. We are hoping they will help us.

Warning to anyone considering Holiday Inn Club Vacations: DO NOT DO IT. We have paid every bill on time and never used a single point, yet HICV’s answer to our request for an exit strategy is simply "you're stuck." Their team just keeps giving us three useless non-answers: sell it ourselves, pay another company to list it, or give up. Expecting owners to privately resell a timeshare mortgage is absurd. They happily collect your money, but the moment you need help, they abandon you. Buyer beware: stay away from this company unless you want to be trapped forever.

It’s difficult to use points because of limited availability and when you use them you have to pay booking fees in addition to the costs and maintenance fees already paid. I’ve had to pay to extend my points because they couldn’t accommodate my travel dates at the 2 closest resorts and have closed the 3rd. Hurricane impact wasn’t considered so I can’t change that trip without more fees. A terrible experience for me and I would never purchase if I could do over.
