HireRight in a nut shell is horrible on every level. 2 weeks in now. The time before this 3 weeks, and the other time was 3 to 4 weeks. My background is clear so there are really no worries. But when the employer asks for a 7 year back ground check and they are checking counties and states that I haven't lived in for 24 years. I find that a bit excessive. This is the 3rd time I have had to deal with this company in 4 years and it baffles me that every time it is a new horrific experience. And why can they not use the information from another employer to speed things along? Seems that if they are keeping all of your information that would help the process along. Guess they cannot charge all of the surcharges if they did that. They are ripping companies off. If I didn't find the company that I am going through HireRight now so appealing I probably would have turned the role down. I cannot stress how disorganized and unprofessional this company is. Everyone needs to forward your complaints about this company to their hiring company and maybe they will stop using these predators that enjoy making people wait with little to no communication, and causing discomfort to candidates. Its not like changing companies isn't stressful enough these people make the first few weeks of interaction with the new employer so uncomfortable, people move on. It ends up being a waste of time for not only the employer but the candidate too.

24 minutes holding call again and holding 45 min and they hang up!!! Calling a American number, paying for the call. They don't know about Spanish Law. Why companies in Spain don't ask about vida laboral?.Paying this kind of company is wasting money and time.

There guys are extremely slow and we are now on the verge of losing contractors because of them. Their website says they process background checks in a matter of days, but we've been waiting for at least two weeks. They don't reach out if there is an issue. I hope my company stops using them ASAP!

This is a company that doesn't give a scheißwein about anybody. They send you generic emails from a "do not reply" email address and make you use their verkackte portal. I had to do this after the fact for a company I already work for; if this was a requirement before joining a company I would turn down the offer and go elsewhere as this is a disgusting first impression

I had one job that I worked at under the table for 1.5 years and didn't meet their hiring thresh hold. Even when I explained the situation..It was a start up and the owner couldn't afford my benefits and payroll taxes, so I took a weekly check sans withholding and paid for my insurance. This cost me a job...6 years later with a verifiable and consistent employment record and a four year degree. I worked for the Gov't an an Enumerator and needed security clearance and that wasn't as invasive as this Train Wreck that will never answer the phone and have little command of the English language. Everyone contacted thought they were debt collectors and hung up on them not knowing they were being contacted for an employment verification.
