I got sick of dealing with hire right providing all my info I turned down the employer. I received multiple job offers and took a lesser job than deal with hire wrong. I don’t have felonies and Provided references. Have my w2 which is so intrusive I am done. No wonder why google put there emails in the trash. I should have took a hint 2 companies used them and I turned down both jobs do to hassle with hire right. I hate hire right. Way to turn off qualified candidates. I passed the other background checks with flying colors. Still waiting on hire wrong....

They call themselves 'researchers' - no idea what they researched as I basically did the background check myself, providing document after document even though I had given contact details for the companies I worked at. Ridiculous requests such as 'provide a personal email address and phone number for your contact in HR who must be currently employed by the company' for places I worked at years ago.... how should I know who is now employed there, even if I did happen to remember off hand the contact details of someone in HR who I may have spoken to a couple of times years ago?!!! No idea why companies feel they have to use these outfits instead of just asking for references as they used to do. Extremely frustrating.

This is the worst background check company I have had the misfortune of dealing with, complete harassment of the worker, wanting you provide all the details for their job for them, aren't you the background check company??? received 10 emails in the space of 5 minutes this morning repeating ridiculous requests. asking for print outs when I have no access to a printer and WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. very very angry with the HireRight system.

BRUTAL beyond belief!!!! These clowns almost cost me a job they took so long. Their online automated service is seriously flawed and didn't work, forcing me to manually enter info, which turned into 6 weeks of back and forth emails. My start date had long ago passed. Completely useless staff and product, no regard for timelines, conflicting information from live chat person (which took hours to go back and forth) and email support. I spent nearly a week of my personal time managing these clowns to get this done. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU ARE AN EMPLOYER, AND WATCH THEM LIKE A HAWK IF YOU ARE GETTING A REFERENCE CHECK DONE. Guaranteed they will screw it up.

I never have any issues with background check except HireRight. Their employees don't know how professionals do for background check, don't know proper manners, and don't know to respect candidates.
