I can see I'm not the only one to have problems with these people. Clearly they're working a scam of some kind, to get companies to use them.

Their incompetence is on display. They keep constantly sending auto generated long and confusing letters requesting never ending followup information. They expect the candidate to do all their work for them. I have lost one opportunity in the past because they could not complicit my background check on time.

None of the employees are competent, trustworthy, and reliable. It took over 70 days to do a background check, but it is still not complete yet. Although, I provided my transcript and diploma, as well as provided my school’s contact information over 10 times. Someone from Hire Right called me this morning requesting the same documentation. Finally, it clicks. Hire-Right employees are illiterate and incapable. I gave up. The company is wasting my time.

This is the worse company for background checks. The people that call us for background checks are ridiculous. You can't understand what they are saying, they don't understand us. They send over faxes and they are blank. You can't reach anyone who speaks English. I tried several different US numbers and no one returned my call regarding my complaint. This is very frustrating for us as the company to give the verification,

No information whatsoever after a couple of weeks, no updates, nothing, only you left out in the open. I just withdrawn of the hiring process as I have little confidence in a company that signs HireRight for doing the background checks

Absolute sham of a company. They don't deserve a single star. We collect all documents, only for the most incompetent people on the planet to take over a very straight-forward process and somehow make it sound like the Manhattan Project. My current company outsource all of the work to HireRight, and it has cost me a whole month’s worth of revenue that I have been waiting for them to do their job. Bunch of pencil pushers who get paid to show a lack of common sense and initiative.

I should be collecting a paycheck from them. I had to do all the work sourcing documents. They're completely incompetent at doing what their company is made to do. I wish there was a zero stars option.

Ruined the chance of getting hired, worst company ever, would rate -5/5 stars if I could. Customer service does not give a flying (I would cuss) about people, they just keep on saying their computers are not working, and even just plain out saying "Sorry, you can figure this out yourself", and hangs up on me because my high school graduation isn't "valid enough". Stupid morons.
