Worst experience ever. My researcher kept saying I highlighted on my form when I clearly did not and said that my handwritten signature wasn't handwritten. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional in my opinion. I have had this issue for about a month now on the same form and have had to call customer service 6 times just to get no results still. Unreal

They will not verify anything. I had my diploma verified via fax by the diploma office twice. They do not check faxes. I uploaded my diploma they refuse to verify it. Saying the diploma office is closed until April. I called my diploma office they’re open. these people are lazy and incompetent and I am not sure I can go to work on my first day which is this Monday because they refuse to verify my education. Update: still nothing has been done by hireright to verify my diploma. I get excuse after excuse. I don’t think they do anything. All I ask is check your fax because they verified it through fax. I don’t understand why you provided a fax number to submit documents to if you refuse to check your faxes. Me and my family will be out of work because you cannot do a simple verification. I spent over $50 to verify my forms which hireright was supposed to pay for.

Working with this company has been so frustrating. Please don’t use them for your company. They are in the process of confirming my past employment. I was supposed to start four days ago. They said they called my current boss to confirm employment but I’m in constant contact with him and he said he never received a call. HireRight must have called some random number in the huge company. I’m a property manager and a tenant. For some reason HirRight put my position as a tenant. They have gotten the information for my other employment wrong as well. They also called the hospital that I did my clinical at instead of the Dr who ran the clinical so of course the hospital told them that they have never heard of me. Every time I call HireRight I have to explain the situation again and give the contact information again but they don’t do anything. They outsource the calls so every-time I talk to someone it’s a person from a different country with a very thick accent who seems to be reading from a script and they don’t understand what I’m saying. This is so frustrating I’m worried I’m going to lose this job opportunity. The hospital I’m applying to said they are stretched really thin and really need help so it’s unfortunate that they use HireRight because I’m sure they loose a lot of good candidates this way.

Horrible , and again Horrible, My background is 95 % complete and holding at 15 days this is crazy!! I have to start on 03-06-23. I have called to give them the correct contact for San Bernadino County CA Sheriff Office but yet they are saying they contacted the court house. You never get a background report unless you contact the Sheriff office of that county so why keep saying waiting on San Bernadino CA Court House. What the craziest part is each time you call you get people from different countries stating they will note this for the department requesting but yet if you did, why has San Bernadino CA Sheriff Department has not been contacted? I have had a secret clearance and it was easier than this!

This antiquated and cumbersome process for verification of employees serves neither employees or customers, and is clearly designed for failure. This is a terrible, terrible system. The primary mode of suggested communication for verification is to send a fax. I have not sent a fax in 15 years. My employee literally asked me what it was. Simple verification requires PRINTING and the checking a box, and then faxing or scanning and emailing the form. No digital checkmark, no digital signature, no ease of use for the verifying party. This keeps the response rate low. It is my opinion that a company that turns to a system like this that requires 6 steps for a simple employment verification is inviting long delays and/or poor verification completion rate. Because I don't need that hassle - and I did it only because I am willing to go out of my way to support a former employee. Many (most?) will not. And who does this hurt the most? The person most in need of a paycheck. The forklift operator or the mechanic or the warehouse worker or the lab tech. Failure to invest in better systems serves only greedy shareholders or executives.

This company is a joke, if you want to open an account with them to start the service for Transportation Background Screening (background check, mvr, cdlis+, etc...) you will wait forever for a sale representative to contact you!!!!! I contacted HireRight 02.01.2023 and for today the HireRight employee still does not have time to even email us the agreement to start the service!!!! So, we decided to give up with Hireright. We were able to open the same service with another company in 2 hours!!!!!!!! DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME, you can start a service with other companies that are professional and care about the customer!!!!!!!!

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I had to do their work. they lied to me saying that they couldn’t verify my education report because they couldn’t reach the school, I called the school and they never contacted them. They never fix a problem caused by them. Don’t use this company for background reports.

This is easily the most pathetic background check company I have ever experienced. My previous jobs were at huge firms..PwC, BDO, RSM and they literally could not verify my employment even though their 1800 numbers literally have prompts for verifying employment. I ended up uploading W-2's and even IRS Transcripts for old years. Yet somehow the company I applied for is saying they couldn’t verify any employer. How are you guys SO bad at your job?! If you can’t verify I worked at a big 4 accounting firm how are you supposed to find criminal histories?!
