Previously I was with a local therapy practice that was not very organized and made things a lot harder. When I decided to leave and do just private pay, I did okay financially but I had to turn so many away who needed therapy and needed to use their insurance. I colleague told me about Headway, and since joining last September, I have had a fairly Smoth experience and I really appreciate their dedication to making the platform as streamline as possible for therapists to do what they do best, helping people with their mental health. I am pleased with my income and with the ability to have a one-stop platform for notes and treatment plans, without the hassle of dealing directly with insurance companies. The only issue I had that was resolved two months ago, is BCBS credentialing. My previous group forgot to take me off their BCBS providers so it took a lot longer to figure out the problem. Headway stood with me the whole time to resolve the issue

I love that eveything with billing is taken care of for you. Also there's templates that can be chosen to use for documentation. Unfortunately, during the credentialing process, it was discovered that Headway never had a contract with a particular insurance company that they were credentialing me with. This wasn't discovered until around 6 months into the credentialing process. I lost patients and a lot of money. during this time.

Onboarding with them was quick and easy. I love their platform and how they make billing insurance so simple. I recommend to all my therapist friends.

Onboarding with Headway was very easy as I was already paneled with the insurance companies. I have brought my clients to Headway and do not use them as a referral source. The only issue I have experienced is trying to get a time sensitive issue resolved as they do not have a way to reach a live representative. Headway is continually taking measures to improve their services.

They make working with insurance easy and to the point, with the most used codes. There are refresher emails for education billing and charting. Some aspects are frustrating at times, but overall I am happy with being able to utilize their services and help the community.

Headway makes it easy to add clients under insurance panels where all I need to do is provide therapy and submit notes. They take care of communicating with insurance companies and they make sure that I get paid on time and regularly. My one complaint is that some of the online paperwork is glitchy and it will tell me that a component is missing, when it is not.

Headway has been a positive experience for me as a provider the past year and a half

I established my private practice in 2021 and signed on with Headway. There have been several situations as they too have been growing and trying to get it right, so I will not complain. I like the quick response time, but I rather speak with a human being. After the pay was not posted in my account, I became leery of the process, but we haven't had that to happen again. It was noble of the owner to take responsibility for everyone who was effected due to the glitch on Swipe's part. I appreciate him for that and that's what kept me with Headway. The only thing that I can say is that the service was promoted as "free" and it is not. Headway retains the co-pay. I submit claims, independently, for those companies that Headway does not accept and I have the scheduled pay the same as listed on Headway as well as the co-pay from the client. So, Headway needs to say that you will retain the co-pay. Example: BCBS co-pay $40, Provider earns $89 Headway rep told me that the co-pay is included in what I earned, that's not true or I would have received $129. Using Headway, streamlines the process of submitting claims, so I will continue with Headway. It works for me.
