If you are a provider and want to manage your insurance AND manage your patients this is the place. It's a riot. They create a platform on their website and give you HALF the tools you need and say here you go and what you end up doing is all the work lol. They just skim a BIG percentage off the top of your reimbursements. They credential you easily enough for no fee but that's where it ends. You just use their website to manage everything then they take their piece and send you your morsel. LOL. omg, what a hustle they have going on and all the uninformed providers go along. Single providers like PMHNPs do not have a full staff typically to manage this stuff which is why they don't accept insurance. I joined Headway to take care of that but realized quickly they aren't managing anything - "you are" and you're losing money and working harder!!! Well, another lesson learned!

Headway isn’t replying to my question I put in their contact form or emails regarding being overcharged. They don’t have a phone line or chat support for clients to reach out to. How am I supposed to get help 🤡 Edit: headway replied to this review telling me to contact them via their form. I don’t think they actually read my review because the problem is that they don’t reply to any query made to them via the form lmao

Simple! User friendly and great CM.

I am new to private practice, started slowly in addition to my hospital work in May of 2022. Headway made it so easy to get started with accepting insurance. The credentialing process was easy and smooth. The reimbursement rates are also great, which makes staying with Headway a simple decision. I am now fulltime on my own (since September 23) with a full caseload. I use Headway with the majority of my clients. Knowing when to expect my reimbursement, and how much I will get, made the transition to private practice much more manageable. I fully recommend Headway to both new practitioners and seasoned ones alike!

Headway has been very easy to work with. Adding clients to the platform is seamless and they pay a decent rate in a very timely fashion. They do not yet provide referrals for new clients and this would be a welcome addition to their offerings. I would definitely recommend Headway to other mental health providers.

I would love to give this website a 3.5 but that’s not an option. It has given me the opportunity to work with wonderful clients and got me credentialed with no hassle. The reason I can not give it a higher rating is that it does not send me new clients and does not respond in a timely manner when a response is needed. I have hope they will improve and show their appreciation to their therapists this holiday season.

Headway provides a great service and are fully transparent. Staff are friendly, and quick to answer any questions.
