The Headway team has made the transition to my own private practice really easy. I have been able to start accepting insurance much earlier than I would have been able to had I credentialed directly with insurance companies. I also really like how they manage the processing of the insurance claims, which takes a huge burden out of my work week, helping me to focus on what I love most, working with clients. I have found the team to be accessible when I've needed help, whether directly or on behalf of clients. I highly recommend Headway and am excited to be a part of the large vision of making mental health care accessible to my community!

They dont call back don’t waste your time

In my experience there is a discrepancy in what each of your employees knows about coverage when I ask for help or have a question. Which is very frustrating when clients have questions. Seth is amazing, I wish I could have him answer all of my questions.

Insurance credentialing, support, and billing are responsive and helpful. I use another EHR for documentation, but the options on Headway seem usable.

The company allows you make an appointment, when the provider is not available. This happen twice. The Provider stated she checks are messages when she has a chance. Unprofessional provider. Not a good experience.

I have been with Headway since September 2022 and it's been a really great experience so far. I have control over my schedule, the reimbursement rates are good, and I don't feel burnt out. Headway is quick to respond to questions I may have and they also give tips to maximize your caseload, and other valuable tips on the Headway site.

I ended up with more stress than I had to begin with, and add anxiety to that. The only reason I tried this one and Talkspace (which was even worse) because my insurance recommended with these in their program. These platforms are full of so called half-professional providers with barely any experience, and that never respond nor show up. And you cannot cancel when they don't show after 30 minutes, because then they will charge you $75 for that. I have to take time out of my busy day to schedule sessions that never happened, now I need to see a real professional to vent about this platform and its poor service. No I DO NOT recommend. Seems like they look out for the provider and not the client. It is best to go to a REAL professional in person! Lesson learned.
