Although I do like the Psychiatrist I acquired through Headway, I scheduled an appointment through Zocdoc for a second opinion and some last minute therapy. Unfortunately, Headway took it upon themselves to contact the provider that I visited for the second opinion, and informed them they are no longer allowed to service me due to the existing relationship with my current Psychiatrist. I am well within my rights to seek a second opinion and receive mental Healthcare from whoever I choose. The audacity of a company that simply lists mental health providers and provides a billing platform to pay said providers, to interfere with my rights to choose or change my Healthcare providers is really unbelievable and unacceptable.

The ease of use makes it a great service. I no longer have to pay billers to ensure I get paid.

I was hoping that Headway would provide clients. I’ve been on for months and only have ONE client

Headway has been great to work with. It's made billing an easy process and I have seen an increase in income.

Awful experience as a patient. Locked me out of my account. When I requested a password reset, it told me to call my therapist. Therapist was unable to help. Tried contacting customer support but they require a login to reach them, and they hide all of their contact information. Tried clicking "can't access my account" but then it spun me around in circles and required me to read way too much information that didn't even help in the end. Overall I had to spend 45 minutes of my life unsuccessfully attempting to do something as simple as cancel a session, which should have taken 2 minutes tops. In addition, email alerts provide no direct links to useful information like canceling or rescheduling. I feel like I need more therapy just to deal with the frustrations of this poorly thought out portal!
