I'd ordered a $180 gift basket in a wicker basket. It came in a broken box. The cheese was hot. Four items were missing with no replacements. Tried contacting customer service, sent photos as requested and there has been no response in over a week. I've waited 15 minutes to speak to a CS rep, but no one picked up in that time. There are better options out there for the US as I have subsequently discovered. Try Harry and David or Stonewall Kitchen.

My husband surprised me with a Cheese Lover and Craft Beer Basket for Christmas. The basket was supposed to have Amsterdam Brewing Company and Sleeman beer in it (Canadian beers), beer that we can not get in Texas. That was the whole reason for ordering the basket in the first place. Instead it had Dos Equis , Blue Moon, and Miller Genuine Draft. No cheese at all in the basket. Just 3 sets of crackers and 1 candy bar. All of this could have been purchased at a convenience store for a small cost. Very disappointed. After several e-mails, attempted chats, and attempted phone calls, they are referring to their substitution policy where they are allowed to substitute with items of equal or higher value when the items are not available. We received the cheapest substitutes you possibly could get. And still no cheese which is hilarious since it was called a Cheese Lover's basket. Is everybody really out of cheese? Please save yourself the heartache from dealing with this company. They have 12 different names operating under The Gift Group. He ordered it from Yorkville Gift Basket but credit card posted as Hazelton Gift Baskets. We tried to answer the review that came with the order and found out they do not post any reviews that are not a 4 or above. Wish I could give negative stars but it is not an option.

they will be late delivering and substitute items without telling you, if you were to ask them they will say too bad. i suggest you find another place other than this

Sent basket to friends. Basket advertised as gluten free. Items were not. Totally embarrased. Customer service can't even answer my questions. Horrible all around.

They put a beautiful basket with a delicate orchid and food treats into an enormous box, which must have been tossed around FedEx for a week. It was delivered bashed, frozen, dirt everywhere. And they won't repond. Try calling. They say they have long wait times, but there are no wait times because you can either leave a message or hang up. You will not get a human. You can leave a message with your email, which they can then ignore.

I ordered 15 gift baskets for work and paid extra for expedited shipping on some, and all orders are super delayed. There's no way to talk to anyone at Hazelton's as none of my emails or voicemails have been returned. Gourmet Gifts is a much better service to go with.

Update on my recent reviews about this company. I’ve had the same lack of response from this company as you all have. My order was placed on the 6th December. I didn’t ever expect my Son would receive the gift of wine but one month later it arrived. Complete!!! I did have paypal contacting them is this the reason it arrived? I’m very pleased this order has ended the aggravation I’ve had with this company. Would I order from them again Never . But grateful it’s over. So I do have to say thank you and hope others are just as lucky with their orders as I’ve been.

I purchased a gift basket on 12/20 and paid for expedited shipping to send to my mother in Edmonton Canada for a 12/24 delivery. My credit card was instantly charged. The website had and online order tracker and on 12/22 my order showed that it was ready for pick up by the company's courier. On 12/24 when my order status had not changed and the gift basket was due to be delivered, I tried to call using the 1-800 number then tried the online chat and no such luck so I sent them an email requesting a status update. 3 days later and no change, I sent them another email since I could reach them via phone or chat requesting them to cancel my order and to issue me a full refund, no response - it is now 12 business days later, my order has not been shipped and they finally responded with a canned customer service email with zero response to my inquires and no refund. I already contact my credit card company to dispute the charge and based on many internet reviews I found, I am one of the many victims that this company has scammed.
