Hazelton's Gift Baskets USAReviews of hazeltonsgiftbaskets.com

Given the choice of gift products on Hazelton, I got the impression that they have outlets in major cities across the US. I chose to order 2 bottles of wine, a rare cheese, an artisan cheese & Bruschetta as birthday gift for my daughter-in-law, who lives in Minneapolis-St Paul, MN. The gift was to have been delivered on 25Jan. It was delivered two days early, and the cheeses & Bruschetta were substituted with other products, with absolutely no intimation to me. I was really disappointed - they neither got the date nor the products right. I submitted a review to Hazelton USA and they have not published it at all - their simple tactics to keep their rating artificially high. Never again will I order from them

HAZLETON'S IS FRAUDULENT AND ARE OPERATING DECEPTIVELY. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY FOR AN 'UPGRADE' AND THEN JUST SEND THE ORIGINAL ITEM WORTH 1/4 THE VALUE. THEY ALSO APPEAR AS A US COMPANY WHEN THEY ARE ACTUALLY OPERATING OUT OF CANADA. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. THEY ARE CRIMINALS. I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH. THERE ARE SO MANY HONEST COMPANIES OUT THERE THAT NEED OUR SUPPORT-PLEASE USE THEM INSTEAD! After seeing Hazleton's ratings on Trust Pilot- combined with my own experience- I can't believe that they are even allowed to operate. I only wish I had checked Trust Pilot before using them. Everything everyone has said is true. In short- I ordered a gift basket for my aunt for her 80th birthday. The basic basket costs US$53.99. I PAID AN ADDITIONAL US$144.97 TO UPGRADE TO MOET CHAMPAGNE, A BOUQUET OF FLOWERS AND A VASE. HOWEVER, MY AUNT DID NOT RECEIVE ANY OF THE UPGRADES. Since I live in the UK and my aunt is in the US, normally I would have never known-and I guarantee that is what they are expecting. Hazleton's takes full advantage of the distance and they keep the extra money. First, the delivery was 10 days late-I assumed this was COVID and not the company. I then found out that my aunt only received the very basic basket (with broken items as well). I tried at least five times to discuss this with Hazleton's-via email and phone calls. They did not respond. It was only after I filed a dispute via PayPal that Hazleton's was even bothered to email me (automated) to ask for evidence. Initially my aunt couldn't sent a photo (she is 80 and kept having trouble with her computer). My cousin was finally able to go to my aunt's and reinstall her software just to send a photo to prove that she in fact did not receive any of the upgrades-just cheap champagne, some chocolates, a glass and a broken tray for US$198!!! After continuously ignoring me and sending me automated so called 'customer service' responses, today (one and 1/2 months later) Hazleton's has decided that they will honour me with a credit of $15.98. They need to further investigate the flowers (which cost $69.99 extra). However, they claim that the cheap champagne that they actually sent was an equal substitute for the Moet. This whole experience, which was meant to be a nice gesture for my aunt, turned into a mini-nightmare. With COVID everything is worse. I only found out by chance-normally I would have never checked. THEY CLAIM COVID IS THE REASON THAT THEY CAN'T RESPOND IN A TIMELY FASHION-YET THEY TOOK MY MONEY THE SAME DAY THAT I ORDERED THE GIFT BASKET.

Ordered a custom basket, items I paid for were left out. Other items I chose were swapped for different items. I expected to be reimbursed for the items left out, customer service would not do anything without photo evidence, they didn't respond to me until a week after the items were sent and the recipient already consumed most of the items.

Like many people on here delivery was extremely late and communication was non-existent, definitely no apologies or explanations for the late delivery. When it arrived, the succulent garden pot was broken (I received a message from the recipient to say so). I fed this back via email, just as an FYI (i.e. I didn't ask for compensation, I was just letting them know so they could improve their packaging!) and they asked or photographic evidence (which i didn't have as I was not the receipient) and when I was unable to provide it, they wrote back and said 'we cannot proceed with your claim or provide compensation'! And I hadn't even submitted a claim and requested compensation! Beyond offended and disappointed and would leave them 0 stars if it was possible. Wish I had read these reviews before I ordered from there.

I'm bummed I had to leave them even one star.... This was one or the worst experiences I've ever had with ordering from a company. Customer service is nearly non existent. No one answers the phone and emails are automated. My grandmother received the package extremely late and it wasn't even in the same ball park as what I had ordered. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT order from this company. I spent the last month disputing the transaction with my bank and finally they were able to help me. Just don't even waste your time. Trust me

I spent $175 on an upgraded bottle of champagne, chocolate covered potato chips, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate fondue, fudge and a gorgeous vase/cooler for the champagne for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. I paid $25 extra dollars to have it arrive one day before their anniversary. It arrived two weeks later with a cheap champagne I didn’t buy and two chocolate candy bars. No one ever answered the phone or email. Total scam. Go somewhere reliable. I tried to support a local business and it backfired on me. The worst.

I ordered a subscription for a Christmas gift for my daughter. It was very expesnive $720 .. still no delivery and they will NOT refund my money. How can that be right? Anyone know who i can speak to ? This is terrible ... DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

We placed two large orders for christmas gifts, before christmas and with expedited shipping. About six days before christmas it became apparent that our orders weren't going to arrive on time as we hadn't received any shipping notifications. We wrote emails, called, sent chat requests and not once were we able to speak with representative. They set up their system so that you CANNOT get in touch with a person. The gifts were never received and we had to resort to disputing the transaction with our bank because there was no support from the company. Such scammers DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.
