Good Afternoon, I booked a 4 Star Package for Feb 2025. We were supposed to stay in Saja Al Madinah Hotel near the Masjid Al Nabawi. Unfortunately, that was not where the company put us. So, we were forced to get a different hotel. After talking with Shazim at Hajar, I was supposed to get a credit for $111. It has been 4 weeks and no sign of the credit. I would not recommend them . I am going to write a full review of Hajar Travels-4 Star Package. In Dec 2024, Hajar Travels ran a promotion for a 7 Night 4 Star Package for $1495. In the package it stated Novotel Makkah for 4 Nights and Saja Al Madinah for 3 Nights. The exact dates for travel were 2/12/2025-2/21/2025. The flight was normal, flew on Etihad Roundtrip. A day before the trip, a WhatsApp chat was created called Feb Four Star Group, in it were instructions for who our group leader was upon landing and also the transportation company that was in charge of picking us up. Per the instructions, upon landing at 4:30 pm in Jeddah, the transportation company will be picking us up from Baggage Claim. Unfortunately that did not happen, the driver that was sent only picked up one of the 4 passengers because he thought all 4 names were one name. It took the transportation company another hour to get another vehicle to pick me up. During this time, I found out 2 other passengers on the flight were part of the same Umrah Group. So, a handler came inside the Airport (we were by Zain-Mobile Carrier), then he took us outside to our driver. Then the driver drives about 10 minutes outside of the airport and tells us to get out and into another car, where another driver will drive us from Jeddah to Makkah. Mind you all of this is going on while we are in Ihram. We finally make it to the hotel in Makkah around 8 pm. The group leader then informs us that we will be going to Umrah at midnight. Truth be told, that was the best thing he did for us since it was a Thursday night going into Friday. Our Mutawif came around 11:30 and we were 9 people in the group. Mind you the entire group is from America, none of us speak Urdu. The reason this is important is because our Mutawif did not speak any English, Arabic (the only Arabic he knew was Talbiyaa), just Urdu. So communication became an issue because we had to rely on hand signals. Once you do the Umrah in a Group, it becomes easier thereafter and you do not have to rely on the group leader. On the fifth day, we went to Madina. Once we arrived at Medina, the hotel we were dropped off in was called "Artal Taiba Hotel". On its best day , the hotel is probably a 3 star hotel. The issue with the hotel were as follows, it was not near the Masjid Al Nabawi, about a 25 minute walk with only transportation to the masjid at salat times. In comparison the Saja Al Madinah was less than a 5 min from the Masjid. The lobby in Artal had a bathroom, but the only way to access the bathroom was via Key Card. As soon as we arrived, the entire group was complaining to the Group Leader feeling as though they had been tricked. While they were arguing, I went to go pray Maghrib in the hotel's prayer room as there was no way we would make it to the masjid to pray Maghrib. Once I finished praying, I contacted Hajar and voiced my displeasure at the circumstances we were in. I informed him that, this is not what was in the package and will be looking for another hotel. We were about 14 people of the group of 40 that left the hotel and ended up staying at Saja Al Madinah Hotel. I contacted Hajar during my trip and informed them the bait and switch tactic is unprofessional and asked for a refund of $111. I waited over 4 weeks with nothing from them. So, I initially posted the Buyer Beware post. After the post, I was contacted that I would get the $111 if and only if I took down my post. So, here we are. Also, if I am able to upload videos of the Taiba Hotel and the group chat between me and Hajar, let me know. These travel agencies use multiple names: Salah Travels Hajar Travels Almadinah Travels

I went to Umrah in Dec' 2024 with family and I worked with agent Ali who was very cooperative and helpful during every step of the process. They have good team in place in Saudia as well who helped in transportation etc. . I would recommend them.

Our family embarked on a very long awaited Umrah trip on December 23, 2024, with Hajar Travels. Shazim Iftikhar was our agent, Br Mairaj was the person of contact in Saudi Arabia and Muhaibiya Transportation was managing our transportation. Things started going wrong from the beginning of the trip. We paid a hefty amount to Hajar Travels for assigning our seats ahead of time but found out in JFK airport that Br Shazim did not lock and pay for our seats even though we have already paid Hajar Travels for them. Our transportation from Makkah to Madina came more than 5 hours late! We waited in the lobby of our hotel with a diabetic patient without any food for 5 hours. Br Mairaj was not reachable and Muhaibiya transportation personnel was reassuring us every time we inquired that our car is on its way and it should reach our hotel in 15 minutes. The driver of our car informed us that he was only contacted 45 minutes prior to him coming to pick us up. So WHO is lying? We arrived at Madinah close to midnight and was informed by our hotel front desk person that our room has ONLY been booked for one night (we were there for 3 nights) and we have to vacate our room in a few hours. We contacted both Br Mairaj and Br Shazim and eventually this problem was resolved after our check out time. We waited for our transportation for Madinah Jiyarat for 8 and half hours and it NEVER showed up. We kept Br Shazim Iftikhar regularly informed about whatever was going wrong and sought his help. He kept on requesting us to have patience. But I honestly do not know what level of patience one has to have to travel with Hajar Travels! Upon return to United States we have reached out to Br Shazim Iftikhar and asked for reimbursement of funds ONLY for the services paid for but NOT PROVIDED. He constantly mixed up instances of wrong doing in order to avoid their responsibility, Wrongly blamed us for things going unexpectedly, and tried to shift the blame from them to us. During our conversation we had the distinct feeling that he is trying to taint us as liars who are trying to cheat benefits out of them. I clearly have mentioned to him that how they behaved with us cannot be the Islamic code of conduct and we are leaving the judging part to Allah(swt) for all the mental anxiety Hajar Travels has created for us. As a good Muslim we will be fair in our review. Br Usman, our Umrah guide, was a TRUE blessing from Allah(swt). We are really appreciative of his great service. Because we decided to go to Umrah with Hajar Travels, 10 more of our friends went with us with Hajar Travels. My last words - May Allah(swt) NEVER in my lifetime or my children’s lifetime EVER put us in a bind that we will have to take the service of Hajar Travels again.

Had a wonderful experience with Hajartravels for my parents Umrah trip. The booking process was seamless and very efficient, which made everything much easier. Special thanks to Hubaiba and Mairaj Haider (group leader).They felt supported and well-informed throughout. Highly recommend!

Brother Ali was very helpful throughout my entire trip and he even helped submitted an application for me for Rawdah. Everytime I called him, he was very responsive and cooperative. I had an amazing experience with Umrah lodges, thanks to Mohammed Ali, who took care of us. Initially, we had requested a room with a view of the Swissotel Makkah Kaaba, but there was an issue with our reservation, and they had to rebook us at the Address Jabar o Mar. At first, I was a bit disappointed, but upon arriving, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful it was. Although I still wished for a view of the Kaaba, everything turned out fine. One thing I must mention is that the transportation service could have been better. The drivers mainly spoke Urdu, which I don’t understand, and this made it challenging for me. Additionally, I found some of the drivers to be a bit rude. Despite this, I ended up having a wonderful experience overall.
