Fast response and correction
Fast response and correction. Able to locate issue and resolve it far faster than I expected. Professional and responsive as well as asking questions to pin-point my issue for faster resolution, rather than assuming and letting the issue drag on.

Wow, thank you so much for the kind words, Brooke! We’re so happy our team was able to quickly get to the bottom of the issue and get everything sorted for you. Thanks for taking the time to share the love!

Photo problem
I couldn't figure out how to make the photo the correct size for desktop, phone, and tablet. They were very helpful.

ATTENTION FIRST TIME POLITICAL…
ATTENTION FIRST TIME POLITICAL CANDIDATE’S DO NOT USE GIVEBUTTER Givebutter will hold your funds for up to ten days is some cases which even depends on days banks are closed. So when you get down to crunch time in your election you won’t be able to access your donations.
Response from GivebutterSep 22, 2026
Hi Jared, we’re really sorry to hear how frustrating this experience was, especially when timing was so important for your campaign. We do want to clarify that payouts are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team to help keep accounts and funds secure. Donations typically become available for withdrawal within 48–72 hours, and if additional review is needed, that can sometimes add more time. We also offer Instant Payouts for eligible accounts if you need access to your funds sooner. We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we’d love the opportunity to take a closer look at what happened with your payout specifically. Our team is here 24/7 and would be happy to help!

Fabulous customer service
I am new to Givebutter and had a LOT of questions for a somewhat complex first event (seats, tables, sponsors, live auctions, silent auction, Fund-a-Need, etc.). The customer service was incredible and incredibly patient. I feel like we're going into the first one as prepared as possible!
Response from GivebutterSep 17, 2026
Awww, we love this, Amy! Your first event sounds like a big one, and we’re so glad our team could help you feel ready for it. We’ll be cheering you on and wishing you an amazing first event!

The CSR was helpful, courteous, professional, and he followed up. Not many folks do that these days that I have experienced.

Easy to use
Easy to use, but their tipping mechanism is deceptive. It doesn’t show the total until after payment has been made and it’s too late for consumers to change the amount. They need to update this to be more transparent.
Response from GivebutterSep 17, 2026
Hi Paul, thanks for sharing your feedback. We definitely understand the importance of having a clear checkout experience! Organizations using Givebutter have flexibility around tipping, including the option to hide or remove the tip option from their checkout altogether. And if a tip was ever added by mistake, our Support team is available 24/7 and always happy to help get things sorted. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us!

Patient
Givebutter associates have been responsive and patient with our small church's volunteers trying to learn GB features and raise funds to save our historic building. Clear instructions provided. Seem highly motivated to help.
Response from GivebutterSep 17, 2026
