We did love our experience with Givebutter. It is intuitive and user friendly. The only negative was the processing fees associated with transactions.

Givebutter excels in being inclusive with its no-fee platform and user-friendly interface. The public feedback system is a game-changer, allowing users to see how their suggestions are being implemented. Despite these positive changes, sometimes new features may require additional individual effort to fully utilize, such as converting saved contacts. However, these are minor inconveniences in an otherwise excellent platform.

We have found Givebutter to be a good service. The fee structure is great and the nonprofit centric communications is helpful. As a church, it is tough not having the option for weekly giving for my donors some of my members have struggles to figure out how to create a donor profile where they can manage their donations. But these concerns are minor considering the value the service brings for us in general. Their customer service is very helpful and prompt with questions as well.

Donors can create a user profile where they can view their payment history for recurring donations—as long as their recurring donations are linked to their profile. Though creating a user profile isn't required when signing up for a plan, we understand how helpful this feature can be! For reporting, if you're trying to pull a list of donations designated to each fund, we'd recommend exporting a Transactions report instead — this should give you the breakdown you're looking for! I love that GiveButter is free for the nonprofit. The features are easy to use and most are free. Until now, our organization has only used the free version and have raised over $36,000 since June 2024. Some donors have commented that they feel bad when they want to give us more money, and that some has to go to GiveButter - either by them making a bigger donation, or by the nonprofit receiving a smaller donation. I'm not sure how to better educate them, but some have decided to donate with cash or check instead which has worked.

The set up is easy, but there was some confusion on posted time left on items. We had it ending at 7:30pm mountain time and it was showing a closing time of 6:30 on the items and couldn't be edited in the dashboard.
