We ordered two cafe ranges which were delivered on June 22 2024. One of them has a defective control panel. A technician came and disappeared. There has been no follow-up. As of July 8 2024 we have called customer service and the repair company numerous times and keep getting stonewalled. GE customer service (including a service manager) say they will check and get back to me - and they don't get back. The repair company says it has not received the part. The warehouse is in Burlington Ontario. How long does it take to ship a required part? The call center employees of this company do not take customer service and care seriously or else the system is seriously flawed with respect to how customer care is handled.

Purchased a 2.0 cu ft countertop microwave on 6/29/24. Door latch release does not work. In order to open the door, one must push the latch release, push down on the top of the door, then pull the door open by hand. Trying to schedule service online is a joke. Nothing available for at least 29 days, and even then there's no indication as to when any service could be available.

I bought an expensive GE refrigerator May 26 2023. It stopped working correctly in May of 2024. I called for repair. The repair person got here days before the expiration date and was unable to locate the problem. I set up a new appointment through GE and I called the repair person. He didn't call and he didn't show. I called GE again and they said yes they would send someone new and made a new appointment and even went so far to tell me they would cover the warranty. The repair person got here today (June 25, 2024) and quickly found the obvious problem but didn't have the part. I called GE to fix the issue and they REFUSED to honor the warranty.

worst experience ever! stacked washer/dryer for my salon. 03/2024: online purchase, delivery, installed all went well. good! now the bad parts: 1. washer got louder and louder everyday, and on 04/2024 serviceman came out blaming on unbalanced load, also saying that warranty is void because of commercial setting. Come on, it's not a laundry, just 1 load a day. 2. tried small and balancing load. Until the noise is unbearably loud, i called service again and got the same treatment, i.e. no service. 3. opened a case, talked to Frank (case manager) who offered no help. No exception, no partial refund, no repairs, nothing. 4. I went back to geappliances.com looking for the factory warranty text. All I found is a 1-liner "1-year limited warranty" without any addition text explaining the details. I'm sure there are some fine print somewhere that I need a day or so to track down. Purposely hide the info? 4. My extended warranty won't kick in until after 1-year factory warranty :-( Now, a basically brand new washer that failed within days, and GE just refused to fix it. My responsibility now, they said. Bottom line: bad service, deceptive marketing, bad quality products. What happened to good old GE appliances?

GE products are subpar and the service is worse. After 2 months of waiting to get parts they arrived. Missed call from repairman and called back in less than 2 minutes. GE cancelled service call and asked if they could reschedule a month from now. Escalated to their customer advisory with no better result. Do not buy GE.

Communication was good. Delivery of parts was good. Ordering while actually speaking with them to make sure I was ordering the correct parts was good. One part was back ordered 2 months, ordered someplace else. When I received all the parts, I put them together and tried them out. This was a replacement of a GE PROFILE gas burned head, base and attachment screws. When I put the new burner on, I tried to turn it on. The spark sparked, but the gas would not ignite. Had to manually light the new burner. To my surprise, the problem I had with the old burner persisted, only the new burner would not only not light, but half the head had no flame. Had to jiggle it a few times to get it to fully ignite, but that same side had the same low flame, which is what I hoped the new burner would fix. One week and $70 wasted. Going to contact to see about returns.

I ordered a washing machine off of their direct website. That included delivery and installation. I paid extra to have the old washer hauled away. I was at work when the new washer was delivered but my teenage daughter was home to let them in. The delivery guys just dropped the washing machine off in the middle of my living room and left. I called the delivery/install crew to have them come back to hook it up and take the old one away and they straight up told me "No. It's too late." I called GE customer service to inform them of what happened and so they scheduled to have someone come out 2 days later to take the old washing machine. I moved it outside on the patio to make it easier for them to take it away and in return I asked that they move the new washing machine down to the basement where my laundry room is. Again I was told no. They said it was not on the order so they weren't doing it. I also noticed that GE charged me a second time for "haul away" when the old washer was never hauled away the first time. I called GE customer service AGAIN. They reversed the first "haul away" charge and scheduled someone to come out the following Monday between the hours of 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM for install. I made arrangements with work to be home during that time frame. I get a text that morning at 6:30 AM, on my way to work, saying that they would be at my house in 30 minutes for install. I text them back stating that the time frame for install was for that afternoon and they told me the work order was changed, that I was their first stop, and they weren't coming back in the afternoon. I had to call and wake up a friend of mine to go over to my house to let them in. They finally installed the washing machine but never stacked my dryer back on top and never hooked the dryer back up. The reason was because the dryer wasn't a GE dryer so they weren't doing it. So that is something I am going to have to deal with when I get home. I am beyond aggravated with GE and it's contracted delivery/install crew. I will NEVER order another appliance from them ever again. Honestly, I should be compensated for all of the trouble and aggravation they put me through. If I could give negative stars I would.
