I like GE . I've had the profile line in the past and I want to upscale to their Cafe line Problem is I cannot find their swing out door wall ovens or their French door ovens anywhere at any of the retail stores. I need one of these because I am in a wheelchair and the traditional drop-down door ovens do not work for me and of course the sliding store ranges are pretty much useless for me. But I am very frustrated because not one retail store has any of these appliances. Nothing at Home Depot not Lowe's not Best buy not even BrandsMart. How can someone like me with unique challenges buy any of these appliances and make sure that they will work out for me when I can't find any of them in any of those retail stores???. Don't want to have to go to a very high-end like Bosch who at least has a showroom in Miami that I can probably drive down to and look at the appliances. I just don't want to spend that kind of money just to look at something that I could probably get with a profile or a cafe appliance if I could only visually see it and try it out in a retail store I can't even find a GE side-by-side refrigerator which I also need because French door refrigerators do not work for people in wheelchairs

Moved in to the new development house in MA (2026). The house included brand new GE Profile appliances. -The stove did not work from the start requiring to schedule the warranty tech (took time!). The issue was related to the incorrect wiring of the whole stove. Tech took time to rewire. -The built in microwave stoped working within 4 months of use. Which required again GE tech visit, and ordering parts. It took 1.5 month for parts to arrive. Very knowledgeable Tech replaced ALL parts inside. GE has the poorest quality products and customer service. They are huge embarrassment for US!!

326 days after installation, my brand new, in-box from Best Buy, Clothes Washer, GTW485ASWOWB quit working. Disgusted beyond belief!

(coffee espresso machine) I would think twice before dealing with the company. I purchased a $500 machine that broke twice within 14 months. They agreed to do right and send a third but then backtracked saying it was out of warranty (which was perfectly true from the original date after sending me a second one that broke) but the problem was 2 high-end coffee machines not lasting past 6 months. The trouble shooting was terrible, and customer service was nowhere to be found. Tried to throw the problems on me by not purchasing extended warranties rather than trying to help

We have purchased 4 GE large appliances in just over 18 months. 3 have had major issues. The range convection feature did not work out of the box, the dishwasher failed and I am waiting to schedule the repair-nearly out of warranty. The washing machine failed at under 18 months. All appliances were well cared for and clean.

I had the Advantium 240 and when it died, GE could not repair it and my extended warranty provider bought out the policy and paid me off. Along the way, over 4 years, I had multiple service calls that were all handled but in the end, the oven just died. For some crazy reason, I decided to buy the Advantium 120V model. I thought it would still be a good choice. BIG mistake. After 13 months, I just had my first service call for a temperature sensor in the convection oven that failed. Overall, the oven Speedcook functions but it's slow to preheat and the halogen lamp is pretty weak. Speedcook technology in its concept is a great idea and for some foods it's helpful but compared to a 240 volt model (no longer made) and the quality of this product, I can not recommend the oven any longer. The microwave is only 900 watts and the exhaust fan is only 300 CFM which is weak. Next time, I'm going for a more dependable brand that is simply microwave and convection only with a 1000 watt microwave and 400 CFM exhaust.

I bought a new GE Moffit Brand Kitchen Range The delivery went smooth. The first thing I noticed was the oven gasket was not secure. It was missing a clip to secure it to the door. It took over two hours to register the oven online. I had to phone in to the call center. I then tried to ask for the company to just mail me a few clips so I could fix the gasket myself. They insisted on get a service call started. When the service person called I told him to save a call and just get me a new clip. He knew what it was and could only order me a new gasket. A couple of weeks later he came by to install the new gasket. He did not have the right tools so he tried to install the gasket with our pair of scissors. I ended up giving him a pair of pliers to finish the job. I notice right after a month of use the chrome burner rings were really hard to clean. Soon all the rings were rusting. Now I have to replace all the rings. I am disappointed at the low quality of the appliance, especially when it was a few months old.

My complaint is for GE factory service by Bodewell(new name for GE Factory service) I have my refrigerator under contract. Contract was thru assurance and while I had to make a few calls to find the right person to come and do the work, their follow thru is horrible. Two times I had appointments for them to come finish and fix the fridge and both s Times the parts hadn't made it. And while I am upset that I can't keep food in fridge for 2-3 weeks, the more upsetting is that both times I stayed home waiting for service guy and no show, no call and no updates occurred. Then I finally got a hold of them after waiting for 44 minutes on hold, and they just say sorry and they push off appointment for 10 days. So they are hard to get ahold of, they didn't call and had no shows and I recieved a part in mail, they said I should of recieved 2 of the in which I did not recieve them. And then there website they go to geappliances.com. Com/service which doesn't exist. Absolutely terrible followup and they need to update their voice prompts.
