Disgusting environmental policy and customer care
Our washer is broken, but GE say we also need to replace our perfectly functioning drier as it is stacked. They regularly appear to change the shape of the stacking mechanism by placing bolts and screws in slightly different positions so that you cannot stack a old machine on your new one. As the old bracket will no longer fit they say is is unsafe to stack them. It cannot be good for the environment to have to discard working machine, and sure it is not beyond the technology of GE to develop a universal stacking bracket. The 'Help' chat is unable to advise about anything -they simply arrange a service or repair visit. They say there are no email contact details for GE
