Welp....definitely should have done more research
Welp....definitely should have done my research. I fall into the same category as pretty much everyone else here. We are in NC. Feel completely duped and have just come to terms with the fact that we may as well just be paying a regular electric bill. The salesman was wonderful because he's...well, a salesman. Told us everything we need and want to hear to make us purchase these panels. Even said "you would pretty much have to throw a block party and leave all the doors open to go over on your usage." (he and I have since discussed how bad of an example this was). Well, we didn't throw a block party, don't leave our doors open and keep most things even turned off during the day. AC set at 73 and we keep getting bills from the city for $80+ each month on top of the cost of the solar panels. It's a total racket IMO. Also, the company started billing us in February but our panels didn't even get turned on until May so that was an annoying double bill for a few months. The list goes on. Just...BUYER BEWARE! Very disappointed.
