So far so good. New on Flynumber .They were good at connecting me to Linphone Voip as they did everything. Lots of paperwork for an old person like myself, but it's the Greek system requirement. Now I have a Greek local number after a few days and have to get used to this system !

Customer service non-existent
Customer service non-existent. If you don't chase them, they won't do anything. Seems like a one man show.
They couldn't source a number for me, which is fine, but no reason as to why.
Give them a miss.

Unfortunately, we were unable to provide services to this user due to high-risk usage associated with nefarious purposes. Their payment was fully refunded as well.

my complaint, Flynumber apologized and issued a refund and account close by Flynumber.
Update (2) - 10/09/2025 :
My account was closed without prior notice, and I only received an email after the closure, with no explanation. This alone reflects a concerning level of professionalism.
I had already closed my previous FlyNumber account in early 2025, and I had not used or shared that number at any point.
On September 30, 2025, I subscribed to a new FlyNumber. Yet, multiple call logs appeared on my account before that date, specifically between August 7 and August 19, 2025.
These calls cannot be linked to my previous number. It is clear that the newly assigned number had been previously used by someone else, and was not properly reset before being reassigned.
FlyNumber acknowledged in one of their emails that this was a technical issue.
Additionally, I was refunded $12.95 USD without any explanation, even though the service I subscribed to cost $2.95 USD. This unexplained refund confirms that an anomaly was identified, even if not publicly admitted.
The attempt to discredit the review by claiming it was generated by AI is not only unfounded, but also distracts from the actual facts.
I simply expect FlyNumber to demonstrate genuine honesty and transparency, not just when it suits them.UPDATE (1) 10/09/2025
Following my initial negative review, Flynumber reached out to me directly to address the issues I had encountered. They offered an apology and invited me to collaborate in resolving the technical problems I had reported, both in my review and through a support ticket submitted via my Flynumber account.
They refunded $2.95 and were cooperative throughout the process, although multiple email exchanges were needed to clarify and resolve the following points:
• A call log of over five pages appeared on my account just one day after subscribing. This was identified as a technical bug (according Flynumber), Theyassured me that my account and data were secure.
• My initial support ticket submitted through the website received no response. While no explanation was provided, the team asked me to submit a new ticket to help investigate the issue.
• The invoice issue was resolved in part: I was able to obtain the document, but it still does not appear in the “Invoices” section of my account
How could I possibly recommend this service in light of repeated inconsistencies, lack of clarity, and a tendency to shift technical failures onto the customer?
I appreciate Flynumber’s efforts to reestablish communication and provide solutions, and I hope the remaining technical issues will be addressed sustainably.Hello, I'm totally agree with some customers reviews. Be extremely vigilent. "Initially, when I subscribed to FlyNumber's basic service, I didn't have any issues. However, on September 29, 2025, I renewed my service thinking I would upgrade. My phone number was activated quickly, but when I checked my account, I already had over 5 pages of phone call history in the "Call History" menu, with calls dating back to August 7, 2025, to August 20, 2025. This is impossible since I didn't have the service activated during that time.
I've opened a complaint ticket via the FlyMember website, but to date, I couldn't find the ticket, and I don't have an invoice on my account. The link sent to me via email to view the invoice doesn't work. FlyNumber is holding my prepaid balance hostage, and there's no way to contact them via email to provide them with a copy of the mysterious call logs. I'm afraid to use this number. This situation raises many doubts about the company's seriousness and professionalism. Their general terms state that FlyNumber doesn't refund prepaid credits. Therefore, I will open a dispute with my bank, which is efficient in resolving such disputes."
It seems like you're having a really tough time with FlyNumber. Based on reviews from other users, it appears that FlyNumber has had issues with customer support and billing in the past. Some users have reported difficulty in getting help from the support team, and others have experienced unexpected charges ¹. Be aware !
Response from FlyNumberOct 9, 2025
We're very sorry Phil had issues, however there seems to be some sort of communication gap. We have replied to all emails (no tickets were opened).
The review was also generated using AI, as evidenced by the following: “and others have experienced unexpected charges ¹” — the ¹ indicating the AI model is providing a source (ironically not correct either way).
The call logs the user is referencing are actually from his old FlyNumber, which had expired.
We're sorry they had a poor experience and wish him the best.

FlyNumber has a reputation challenge
FlyNumber has a reputation challenge, reflected in its Trustpilot rating of approximately -4 stars. The primary issue stems from slow and unreliable customer support, which appears to be managed by a very limited team—potentially even a single individual—resulting in long delays of weeks to resolve issues. The pricing model is subscription-based in USD and is not particularly affordable. Additionally, FlyNumber's inventory of mobile phone numbers is limited, which is a significant drawback.
While I appreciate their drag-and-drop call routing PBX system powered by phone.systems, their default lack of encryption options complicates security, and requesting encryption to be enabled can be an arduous process. The one positive feature I found noteworthy is their ability to reactivate terminated numbers, which is relatively uncommon among similar providers.
Response from FlyNumberOct 9, 2025
This unfortunately doesn’t seem to be a genuine review, as the information is contradictory along with scattered thoughts throughout. From encryption complaints and customer service issues to praising us for restoring numbers—it seems off, however we could be wrong of course.
We used the “Request Information” feature on Trustpilot and received the following response: “The reviewer didn’t respond to your request within the 3-day period.” We would love to know who this is to look up the account, however for now we will have to chalk this one up as an illegitimate review.

Initial problems, but sorted now.
Initially I found the wesite very difficult to deal with. But Nader has been very helpful and it looks like we are all set up now.

Initial impressions
Initial impressions: FlyNumber just works. All prices are clearly listed and their system has excellent documentation. You can pay with an auto-renewal, or you can pay manually, which is what i did and everything went smoothly.

On boarding took a bit of time 2-3 days to get fully working VOIP. You remind them you exist and after that it goes well. The software is very good and easy to use.

Slow service and refusing to refund
It took two weeks and a support ticket to get our first phone number activated.
Refused to refund another, cancelled order to our PayPal account. Even more: the PayPal subscription for the cancelled order kept running month after month. No reaction on support tickets and mails until I wrote this Trustpilot review.
I had to file a case with PayPal to get refunded for the cancelled order.
FlyNumber charges money and does deliver the ordered service. Refusing to refund.
I ordered a phone number and paid for the subscription and some prepaid balance. The phone number did not get allocated after two days. I knew through the reviews here that this could take some time.
As I actually changed my mind and wanted a phone number from another region, I cancelled that first order and created a second one (again including some prepaid balance). I supposed that the first order would be refunded upon cancellation.
However, nothing happened.
I wrote a support ticket on the website and the number got finally activated, after two weeks waiting.
The money from the cancelled order was not refunded. It was added to my "prepaid balance". But I didn't need any extra prepaid balance, I wanted a refund. The owner/support of FlyNumber just ignored all my messages and didn't respond anymore.
Worse, one month later, my Paypal account was charged again, with the monthly subscription fee for the CANCELLED order. That money was added again to the "Prepaid balance".
So the PayPal subscription was not cancelled upon cancelling or ending the service and it kept on taking monthly subscription fees for a service I never had.
Finally, I filed a dispute at PayPal and got my money back from them.
Then I wrote this review here on Trustpilot and suddenly the people at FlyNumber wakened up and responded to my support tickets and e-mail.
However, I believe good service should be given
- without two weeks waiting time for processes that should be fully automated;
- without the need for negative reviews to shake up the support people.
And I find "refunding" to the internal "prepaid balance" unacceptable when I explicitly ask to be fully refunded in cash, to PayPal.
Maybe this was a single experience, not up to FlyNumbers normal standard, as they claim. However, it was my experience, so I share it as it happened.
Response from FlyNumberAug 23, 2025
This was not a genuine experience, unfortunately. We had contacted the user many times to clarify the issue with the account and order, but to no avail. They also received a full refund.
