It's a scam! It's been more than ten days and I am still not able to use the service. Reading their instructions on their website seems like you instantly get a number and start using it. Unfortunately, it felt like a scam in the beginning due to not getting responses and weird feedback about the payment I conducted; it took more than a day to see the money in my balance. Now, I have got a number from them but inactive and cannot be used yet! They say it'll be activated "shortly". It's been a day since then. I have a very urgent situation that I am already delayed by two days and I still don't know the quality of the service when it's activated, if ever so. Lately, they informed to send further documents regarding my address, ..., so, it a false claim that you don't need to waste time in registration and so ... The way the process goes on does not make me trust these guys so I decided not to send them any further information about myself and just cancel the subscription. They stopped responding anyhow! I couldn't find an option to cancel my subscription online and sent them, they don't respond, though! In short, it's completely unreliable dealing with such a provider if you're in an urgent situation, at least. I'd stick to the ordinary mobile providers even if it is more expensive when it comes to reliability.

I have had an excellent experience with Flynumber. Before I was a customer with Skype for many years. I received very good customer support from Mr Nader Jaber and I was able to have my virtual number working on my iPhone in a couple of days to make and receive calls. I can also receive sms messages for verification purposes to my email. I highly recommend Flynumber to those looking for a reliable and affordable option.

Very friendly and effective help

Despite what some reviews below say, my recent experience with this company has been stellar. Nader not only helped to set up exactly what I needed (after I explained it in an email) but also stood by until we got it all set up with my phone app and got the virtual number fully working. Since I was not familiar with virtual telephony, I really appreciated someone like him taking me step by step. I would recommend this service to anyone needing a virtual phone number abroad.

The response times improved but are still improvable. Overall, the service is excellent for that price. You have free call forwarding from the number you purchase, plus SMS forwarding to emails. What is a much better alternative on the market? It would be great to have an outbound call feature, but for the price, it's a great service overall.

Edit: problem solved and service, once tried, is very satisfying. Only 4 stars because of the time it took to get the job done. Everything else is thumbs up 👌🏻

After 8 years of using this firm, they have suddenly started charging me 25 times (yes, 25x) the per minute rate that I've always paid for calls to the UK and have the audacity to try and suggest I'm somehow wrong about the rates. Absolute crooks. Update: and now a disingenuous reply - they did refund to the account, but refused to refund to my PayPal so I'm stuck with the crooks while I run that balance down. They also decided that increasing the rates 25x despite the rates on their website being the same as I'd paid for eight years previously was down to "confusing text" - there's nothing confusing about it, it just contradicted their desired position so they edited it. Here's the actual email from them: Email from Flynumber: ... The rates when you were on the old phone system were not what you’re seeing in the current per min rate page. The line you quoted is confusing and we have changed it. We were trying to say on this page is info for both. As a courtesy and only on this account we have added $100 credit for this, I really hope you can give us a chance to restore your faith in our company.
