About Eyeglassesdepot

EyeglassesDepot.com started in 2007 as a new department of our retail designer eyeglasses and sunglasses business. Quickly we realized that our customers not only shop for new prescription lenses and new frames, they also ask us the popular question "Can this be fixed?". Tired of telling customers NO, we decided to explore the idea of repair rather then replacement. In late 2007 we remodeled the second floor of our office and hired the staff that today runs our laboratory. Our two lab technicians have combined over 17 years of expert experience in the field of optometry, eyewear repair and eyewear sales.

Thankyou Sam for help with finding the Ic Berlin frederic G eyewear frames.I received them intact on the 24th of January. to my home in Western Australia.I'm very impressed with your diligence in finding these very dated frames from Ic Berlin. You'll definitely be my go to company for any future transactions. Kind regards. Kenneth Laycock.

Repaired hinge anchor looks fine
Repaired hinge anchor looks fine. Had difficulty with billing, but the owner himself phoned me to correct it.

Absolutely Fabulous
Search no more for eyeglass repair! I had my PRADA , prescription eyeglasses repaired , they were right on the money. Price to repair was definitely affordable and worth it . Costumer service is over the top. Trust me , no one is more attentive , very quick to respond respectfully so! This is your Go to eyeglass Store . I will continue to do business with, and recommend them to everyone. Also has discounted designer glasses. Search no more!!!

Do not send these people your glasses
Do not send these people your glasses. They were unable to fix the scratches in my lenses and will make you pay for work they didn’t do and charge you outrageous shipping fees, threaten to throw your glasses out and hold your glasses hostage if you don’t pay up.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience was not up to expectations. We understand the frustration when it comes to damaged glasses, especially when they hold sentimental value. In this particular case, the Chanel SHIELD glasses you sent in are indeed very old and, unfortunately, the specific type of scratch you mentioned cannot be repaired or replaced due to the discontinued nature of the frames. Our team made multiple attempts to contact you to discuss your options, including offering to return the glasses with a standard return shipping fee. It’s always our goal to be transparent and helpful, but it appears communication may have been an issue in this instance. The $12 charge for insured return shipping is a standard fee, and we regret if this felt excessive or unreasonable. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our customer service processes. If you’d like to further discuss the matter, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

I was very satisfied with the repairs made to three pairs of sunglasses I sent in. The glasses can now be used again! The communication from Eyeglass Depot regarding receipt of my glasses, when they were being repaired, and when they would be sent back was very clear and timely. I recommend this service.
