Poor sevice.
I ordered eyeglasses online, received a confirmation, but after 1.5 months have received no other contact or merchandise.

EyeglassesDepot.com started in 2007 as a new department of our retail designer eyeglasses and sunglasses business. Quickly we realized that our customers not only shop for new prescription lenses and new frames, they also ask us the popular question "Can this be fixed?". Tired of telling customers NO, we decided to explore the idea of repair rather then replacement. In late 2007 we remodeled the second floor of our office and hired the staff that today runs our laboratory. Our two lab technicians have combined over 17 years of expert experience in the field of optometry, eyewear repair and eyewear sales.

I searched the internet for a company that could repair my vintage Porsche folding sunglasses. When I read the company’s Eyeglasses Depot description I was impressed. I sent my glasses to them with the prepaid USPS free shipping label. I tracked the delivery to Pomona. Their webpage says they would contact me in 48 hours with a repair cost. After 10 days no response whatsoever. I have called at least 20 times left clear messages and sent emails. I think I have been taken and I’m furious. Beware

I am writing to try and get a response from this company. I was stupid enough to purchase a pair of glasses. I have been trying to contact them - any number for them does not go through. Any email link does not go through. Any chat feature is a waste of time. I am resorting to this to try to get a response and a call back.

Totally incompetent. I sent my glasses in for repair, and they lost them.

Total skam and fraud. They don’t deserve a rating

Can you kindly provide your information so we can look into your issue??

They have never heard of customer service, apparently. My wife ordered a pair of glasses, which arrived with the wrong prescription. They refused to refund her money and repeated emails went unanswered. Don’t buy from this site, you might as well give your money away.

I have had a very negative experience with this company similar to many other complaints/reviews I have read. After trying to deal (unsuccessfully) with the company I contacted the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection and filed a complaint. The DCWP tried reaching out to eyeglasses depot with no success and because my complaint was the only one on this co with the department, I was told there wasn't anything they could do based on ONE complaint. So, I am asking that each and everyone who sees this and feel that they were scammed by this business will do the same. I sent my Maui Jim sunglasses to this place for repair after finding them on web when searching for *Maui Jim sunglasses repair". The quote they gave was more than the double cost of any repair I had Maui Jim do before. It made more sense to buy a new pair over paying thier price. When I told them that I wanted them returned and didn't want to do the repair, they told me that I had to pay for their $9.99 cancelation fee or they would send me to a collection agency. I called Maui Jim directly and asked why they had a service place that treated customers this way. Maui Jim told me this place was a scam. Maui had been trying to get websites like this from showing up on web searches and advised me to not pay anything. If you search the address on google maps you will find a shack in New York. I requested they return my glasses, but they want my bank account first. Do not use this place. To this day, they still have my sun glasses or have already sold them on ebay.
