Dishonest subscription model
I paid £11.99 to download the Effecto app on 18/03/2025. I never actually used the app, but didn't mind paying the initial price to see what it had to offer. I was unaware that they had automatically signed me up for a subscription, there was no email from them to notify me of signing up to their service, no notification that a payment was going to be taken, no subscription visible in Google Play Store. The first I knew of this subscription was when £24.49 was taken via PayPal. Avoid at all cost

Scam.
Like many here, I also signed up and paid for a 1-week period and then later discovered monthly charges on my account. I never signed up for a monthly account, and of course the site and app are set up so there is no information about your 'subscription'. Emails to customer service were met with the 'no-refund policy' and no help was given. Had to take it up with my bank.

Beware of this company
Beware of this company! I decided to try for 7 days to see if I would like it and the next thing I knew they had signed me up for auto subscription! I did NOT agree to it at all! And they don't (won't) refund even though I emailed as soon as they charged me! Rip Off

DO NOT USE! This is a complete scam the took a lot more money in the first place than what I had signed up for i eventually managed to get the to cancel the subscription but did not get any money back. Payments stopped but now 6 months later and they have just taken another payment. Contact Ted them they say their policy is not to refund after a payment had been processed so basically they seem able to just take my money without any authorisation from me and not give it back!

STAY AWAY! Scam company,automatic renewal of payments without warning, in my case they told me that they sent me a 3 month plan, I don't even know where, I don't remember making an account. Even PayPal didn't refund my money because the payment was ok

They are a scam company who remove…
They are a scam company who remove money from your account . They have an auto reply set up that you are unaware off, until money taken out of your account . You can not get your money back from them. Hiding behind terms and agreements that you are unaware off
