EffectoReviews of effecto.app

Sorted out my query efficiently and quickly. Very pleasant and helpful assistant.

Easy to answer questions. Relatable response options.

Wieder was gelernt ... teures Lehrgeld ...

Quick response 👌👌.

Hasta ahora bien

I purchased a one-month plan with Effecto App for €18.99. I would like to emphasize that this was a ONE-MONTH plan, which I purchased specifically to try out the app. After this one-month plan expired, I was charged an additional €37.98 for each of the following two months. In other words, the app appears to have automatically renewed my subscription each month, despite the fact that I had only purchased a one-month plan and had not agreed to an annual subscription. I have already contacted Effecto's customer service regarding this issue. Instead of addressing my request, they responded by sending me two links containing general mental health information. When I specifically asked them to provide documentation or a receipt showing that I had purchased or agreed to an annual subscription, they stopped responding. I also requested a full refund for the unauthorized charges, but instead of addressing my refund request, they again provided the aforementioned links. This appears to be a very misleading subscription practice. The app looks legitimate at first glance, but after looking more closely at the subscription and renewal process, there appear to be significant issues. Furthermore, numerous reviews report similar experiences from other customers. It is particularly concerning that this is happening with an app that promotes itself as supporting mental health. Such practices are unethical and completely unacceptable.

Quick and simple.

EFFECTO/LIAB MEDICINE/HIGH DIET ECT...! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!! They claim they want to help change your diet and help and offer a 12 week program for about $48... Great... right? WRONG!! Honestly, I never used this program and thought I cancelled it. I never heard anything from this program and assumed it was done. Then on 09/06, I have a charge for $158.94 on my card! WHAT! I contacted them about the issue and they the reply was: I am not eligible for refund and it's not their responsibility to let me know to renew. WHAT?! Any program with any good intentions, will contact you to see what's going on. This one... NOTHING! But, WHO WOULD SIGH UP FOR ANYTHING THAT INCREASES 4X' S THE PRICE?!! NOBODY!! The condescending tone of the email infuriating me! "THE PRICE WAS CLEAR IN THEIR CONTRACT AND SORRY THAT I MISSED IT." WHAT!! No LEGITIMATE company doesn't send some notice! No one would sign up for something that would increase that much! Ever!! STAY CLEAR, BLOCK AND SPREAD THE WORD! IF YOU SEE ANY OF THE ABOVE NAMES... CLOSE THE TAB!
