I wanted to like EchoPark, but I hated it
I wanted to like EchoPark. But their system of no-pressure, non-commission "customer experience" staff means no one is there trying to help you. They don't care if you buy a car or not, and no one is working hard to try to earn your business. We were there for about 3 hours and only were able to test drive two cars because our "customer experience" person had no incentive to help us out. Tons of time standing around waiting. And they don't try to fix up their cars - one was brought out to us with stains on the seats and was just a mess (we didn't even take it for a test drive). Another they had slapped touch up paint on it when it wouldn't have been hard to pop out the dent they were trying to conceal. Would not recommend. Bought a car easily somewhere else where they actually wanted our business.

OVER ALL SERVICE
I called and I set an appointment , I asked to see 3 cars. I talked over all of this with the scheduler. She said we look forward to seeing you, the cars will be pulled up and ready. We went in, and I was told 2 of the cars are in Colorado springs, ONE was available, I said wait , I wanted to see those cars. I was told that for $99 EACH they could bring them down. wow... then I looked at 2 other cars . I then asked to see a third car, my sales girl ( who was more interested in her phone than us) said well it is a Saturday and we have a limit of 3 cars because we need to help other people because Saturdays are so busy. I was shocked. Even with this I stayed and looked at the 3 cars, but I really wanted the one from Colorado Springs so I said FINE bring it down. I was told they would call me when it came in... no calls, nothing, I had to call and ask, then they said almost a week later it would be there. so, I went back. I liked the car, we decided to buy it. it was dark out, so we missed the cracked windshield. I called back and left 12 messages ( I have proof of this) no call backs, I was transferred to people and they would say I need to ask the manager . Then I was told ok, we can get this replaced. I waited again, by now it is past the 7 day return policy no questions asked and I paid cash for this car, was told the glass company would reach out to me... NO ONE called, I kept calling , I got some one who was really nasty and she said the manager said NO we will not replace it. HE will give you $150.00 to help YOU pay for it, NOW mind you we bought a bumper to bumper coverage too. They said its not covered, and I said I want to talk to the manager, I was told he was helping other customers and would get back with me. This is 6 weeks now and I guess the manager has a never ending guest to help. We still have a cracked windshield. I am still waiting for the manager call to explain WHY they will not replace this windshield. so from beginning to end this was not a good experience.

My overall experience with EchoPark was pretty ok
My overall experience with EchoPark was absolutely great. All of my questions were answered, the team was not pushy, I really liked my sales rep, Asia Nelson, and I absolutely LOVE my 2022 Lexus IS350 F-Sport!
I'm only giving 3 stars because after all of the paperwork was signed and I was leaving I came to learn that there was only ONE key to the vehicle and NO floormats. Verifying floor mats never occurred to me since they are generally kept in the trunk for test drives. And I don't think that I have ever purchased a vehicle that didn't come with 2 keys! Being that this is a Lexus these are NOT cheap items to replace (key was close to $400) and EchoPark should have taken care of that or at least disclosed the info prior to purchase.
When getting shorted is you very last experience as you are walking out the door then that is most likely what you are going to remember (and rate on!).
I'd recommend EchoPark but grill them on every single detail....even if you think the answer should be obvious.

Do not go here.
Do not go here.
I tried to go here for a 2 car trade in. Could not get anyone via phone, email, text, website, cars.com. When i left a Google review i finally got a text to tell me only customers inside store get communication preference. I explained i was 2 hours away and would like to ask questions about vehicle before driving.
No redponse. Their Google reviews are lies. Fake emails used to create multiple accounts.

Gloria & Chelsey in Birmingham, AL
Gloria & Chelsey were the best! We came at a later hour to look for my husband a new vehicle and they helped us not only by putting my husband in a vehicle he has dreamed of but helped us ultimately make a decision that would financially benefit us in the long run... something you can't find anywhere else! Plus, we never once felt like an inconvenience for our timing! That is the kind of customer service that backs why I will always start with Echopark in Birmingham when looking for a new vehicle and I will always recommend them to friends! My husband is happy which makes me happy! 😊

Would never recommend this used car…
Would never recommend this used car lot. Ryan Miller was my salesman. After getting in a car accident, the last thing I wanted to do this holiday was shop for a new car. Unfortunately I should’ve learned my lesson the first time I came to this lot. But I gave them a second chance and I fully regret it. I bought a vehicle from here and I will say I love my car but the sales people are horrible. After already explaining I did not want the warranty they offer they decided to slip it in my paperwork and I did not catch it till later that night after I left. They also gave me my vehicle with nearly an empty tank and did not reset the oil life. The next day I called 4 times to figure out how we can resolve this and was sent to voicemail never receiving a call back and then I called again and they hung up on me. Then two weeks later they called me asking me for my letter of total loss after I already provided them with it at the time of the sale. Ryan was my salesman and I would never wish this upon someone who was just in a traumatic accident like myself. If you go to this car lot make them explain every detail to you and break down why your payment is what it is bc they will rush you through your paperwork. I should’ve known better and I completely regret shopping at this used car lot

Starts out great, but….
Starts out like it’s going to be great service. They highly recommend you set up an appointment so that you can receive a more timely service. If you consider seeing me at 2:30 when I had a 1 o’clock (I initially had a 2 o’clock appointment but changed it and they said that was no problem) appointment timely then maybe you should stop following the doctor’s office business model. I get it. How can one calculate how long one is going to spend with the prior custumer but don’t try to deceive me with an appointment as if it’s going to be any different than any other experience I’ve ever had with a car dealership. Sometimes it’s good when they’re not busy and sometimes they’re just busy. If that was my only issue though I could understand because truthfully, I was OK because I do understand how personal service can extend past time allotted. However it didn’t end there. That was just the beginning of what would be what I would consider not very good service at all. The communication was painful. It literally took two hours for them to reply every time I had a question. They won’t deal with any outside lenders. I already had my financing in place with guardian credit union but they made that impossible. They tried to charge me $9000 more with their “upfront, no haggle pricing” by adding a bunch of stuff that I never asked for. I still don’t know what all of it was. They never even asked me if I wanted these things or even discussed with me what it is they were trying to charge me for. It just mysteriously disappeared. I know a huge chunk of it was what I would think would be an extended warranty, but it was listed under some acronym that made it unclear without explanation. The website says that if I purchase a vehicle in Alabama which I did the taxes tags and the $699 treatment that they do on the outside of the vehicle was part of the price but yet they tried to add it on top of the vehicle price. There was several other crazy fees like, lifetime dent removal and yada yada yada. Look, I think it’s great that you provide these services and I get the value of up selling but I don’t subscribe to assuming the services are desired. Once that was removed, they still wanted to charge me $22,999 when the vehicle was listed for $22,689 and then tried to insult my intelligence and attentiveness by telling me they are sorry there must’ve been a last-minute price cut. The truth of the matter is, it may have been a simple mistake, but given all the other stuff, it left it open to suggestion. Bottom line, all I can say that from beginning to end it was not a very good experience. Great concept…. seemed like it was gonna be a very good experience…the sales person was extremely nice….. as a matter fact, everyone was extremely nice, but the process is very broken
