My overall experience with EchoPark was absolutely great. All of my questions were answered, the team was not pushy, I really liked my sales rep, Asia Nelson, and I absolutely LOVE my 2022 Lexus IS350 F-Sport!
I'm only giving 3 stars because after all of the paperwork was signed and I was leaving I came to learn that there was only ONE key to the vehicle and NO floormats. Verifying floor mats never occurred to me since they are generally kept in the trunk for test drives. And I don't think that I have ever purchased a vehicle that didn't come with 2 keys! Being that this is a Lexus these are NOT cheap items to replace (key was close to $400) and EchoPark should have taken care of that or at least disclosed the info prior to purchase.
When getting shorted is you very last experience as you are walking out the door then that is most likely what you are going to remember (and rate on!).
I'd recommend EchoPark but grill them on every single detail....even if you think the answer should be obvious.

The Devil is in the details!
This company buys nice used cars, usually from rental companies. If you are buying straight out, you can purchase a low mileage car for a reasonable price. They do not accept any form of payment accept cashier's check. Really, really watch all the hidden fees. Numerous times in the conversation with salesman, items were mentioned that would be included in the deal supposedly at no extra cost. When the paper work was drawn up, about $5000 Xtra bogus fees were thrown in. Was able to have all but two removed. One for catalytic converter theft which makes no sense due to converter still being obviously in tact while signing the papers and the other for some kind of coating that had already been applied. Bird urine or something of the nature. Their finance rates are ridiculous so finance elsewhere if you need to. Hope this helps someone in their decision making.

Mixed Review for Echo Park
THE sales person JENNA was GREAT! she came in and stayed way passed he time and came in on off time!
The one manager guy was very helpfull also.
The biggest issues I have with echo park were!) they didnt detail the vehicle inside or out. Or if they did they did a really bad job of it. the inside had animal fur and sand in the back seat are. they never lifted the lift up sections and cleaned under there at all. lots of fur and trash. Also they only put Armour all or what ever on the front air dam...no where else!!
AND THEY CHARGE YOU $700.00 FOR THIS NON SERVICE.ALSO THEY DONT FILL THE TANK...THEY LEFT THE TANK BELOW 1/4 . The second issue was it took so long after we gave our downpayment to get the peppers out and get them signed. I understand that they put the wrong zip code in but it took anouther 65 mins. to get that corrected and back out so we could resign...I guess they dont do auto contracts everyday so it must be a learning experiance???
Now after contacting them they did agree that if we drove the hour back down they would detail the vehicle for us...we declined. After seeing the job their " detail crew" did the first time We elected to detail it ourselfs.
SO YOU HAVE TO WATCH THESE GUYS ON THE GAS AND DETAILING AND THEY ARE VERY SLOW TO GET THE CONTRACTS DONE CORRECTLY.

Just do your homework
Buyer Beware! OK, I have bought and sold a car at this place. If you understand their get up and go before you visit, you will not be disappointed. So here is the real deal...
Echo Park claims to sell accident free cars that are no more than 4 years old. Most cars still under the original manufacturers warranty. This is true. Their cars are from lease returns and rental company cars or trade-ins from people selling their car like I did. Most of the cars seem to be clean, a lot better than CARMAX. Never buy a car from CARMAX. Anyways, they give a good penny for your car as a trade in or direct sale to them. They do not have a high mark up on their cars. The profit margin is very tight. If they do not sell a car within 30 days they mark it down to where someone could get a great deal with no haggle on the price., So they have to make up that loss somewhere else. Hence, the warranty and financing end of things which will come at you in the latter stages of your buying experience. I never buy warranties as I think they don't pay. I learned the hard way a couple of times earlier in life and added those costly expenses in the financing. When something happens you think should be covered in the warranty, the usual answer is, OH that is not covered under the warranty you chose... Sorry partner. They do not let you get your own financing because they don't make a spread on the rate that way... they control the financing part so they can get a couple points over the life of the car loan which generates HUGE profits for them! Most people do not realize this sneaky little trick. I am in finance, so I understand the system they are running. I called my credit union in advance and got a quote after they checked my credentials. (income, credit and debts). So I knew going in what my rate and term should be on the car I was interested in. I called Echo Park and explained to the manager up front who my credit union was and I was only willing to purchase if they used them and I got the particular financing quoted by my credit union. Fortunately, they were on the approved list of credit unions they dealt with. The manager was very reluctant to give me the rate I already had been quoted and did even admit to me they make a small spread on each deal they do since their profit margins are so tight on the vehicles. Anyways, he granted me the rate I was quoted, only, I think they may get a discounted rate for sending lots of business to the credit unions and then may have made a very small spread. I did not care as I planed to refinance the vehicle within a couple of months with more money down on the loan at a lower rate and shorter term. One very important thing to know.... They do not sell cars that have been in an accident which is great, however, they have many cars on their lots that have been repainted in certain spots or areas of the car. SO INSPECT THE PAINT EVERYWHERE on the car. If you see dull spots compared to sharp and shiny spots, the car was painted. The paint repairs they have done on their cars are like the cheapest, and worst quality, kind of like MACCO. I assume some of the cars they purchase have slight damage from shipping or slight damage on rental cars. I believe they have various body shops under contract that fix many of their cars before going on their lots. Otherwise their cars mostly have low miles and are in decent condition. I would look at the carfax and make sure the car you are interested in was not a rental of any kind. These rental cars may look clean and nice, but most have been abused. Other than that, the people are nice and easy to deal with, the dealerships are nice and clean. Oh the reason I said do not buy anything from CARMAX is because their cars are way overpriced, mostly junk, dirty and have issues. That is why they give you 7 day trial to return. Echo Park does not let you return the car once the purchase has been executed. You do get a 30 day 1000 mile warranty they claim is for anything that goes wrong, which is good. So all in all a pretty decent place.

Highlands Ranch Location is a JOKE
The 3 stars is for the CENTENNIAL LOCATION! These people don't even have most of their service equipment anymore, but they still made an attempt to fix the minor things on my car. They are the nicest and most professional in my opinion. The HIGHLANDS RANCH LOCATION is a big NO! DO NOT go there!!! The older heavier set man BEHIND the desk at the service area told me his "30 years of experience in the car business" was enough to diagnose the issues while he was behind the desk the whole time. He told me to "just take it to a Hyundai Dealership." I called there twice, they took my information, said I'd receive a call back BOTH times. Took two days later when I called understandably agitated to get someone to speak with. Eventually, I just called the Centennial Location where I actually bought my vehicle. Even though they don't do services anymore, Isaiah (the gentlemen at the service area) still tried to find the issue. Unreal. Listen to your customers. It goes a long way. Thank you Centennial Location! If it weren't for the awful experiences with Highlands Ranch Location, I would have put 5 stars.

I purchased a used 2015 Nissan…
UPDATED: After my negative review they agreed to replace all of my breaks free of charge. The way they treated me and the fact that a negative review was required to get assistance is frustrated but they did right their wrong and admitted to having missed the break issue. They did not have a response about the other parts as they are not a part of their 190 point inspection (still don't know what those points are either)
ORIGINAL POST: I purchased a used 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. The service was very courteous and the transaction was very quick and comfortable BUT just 5000 miles later, the 190 point inspection seems to be a complete sham. The transmission had a leak that the mechanic said was obvious and severe, the cabin filter was so blocked the fan could barely run, all four brakes pads are shot and the rotors are rusted all the way through. The manager's only response was "well you are getting a used car." That certainly isn't the confidence they instill when selling their cars claiming they are "changing the perception of the used car business". I would recommend No ONE purchase a car here unless you are investing heavily in an after-market warranty. We got taken!

When truck was delivered the interior …
When truck was delivered the interior was filthy and I soon discovered the front struts were leaking very bad. People were great and process was quick just a few things that should have been taken care of.

Not impressed with the Highlands Ranch …
Not impressed with the Highlands Ranch location. Once they found out we were purchasing a vehicle out right the service seemed to change and they were worried about getting the paperwork done and getting us out the door. When we returned the next day to pay and pick up the car all they were worried about was getting out check. The 2 young men up front were of no help with a few questions we had and you could tell that they weren’t going to get up out of the chair to find someone to answer our questions. Just because we are buying the car out right doesn’t mean our treatment should be different.
