I placed an order on July 20 for parts for my field and brush mower. When ordering the parts it stated they would ship in 1-3 business days. Checked order status on July 24 and order had not been processed yet. Called customer service and was told it would be yet today or in the next 2 business days. Checked order again on July 29 no change. Called customer service again and was told that they were processing orders from July 7 and mine wouldn't be ready for another 5-10 days. In the shipping information on their web site, it climes that they will notify you of any delays in shipping never received any notification

I bought DR PRO 26 field bushhog about a year and a half ago. After assembling it per their instructions, the machine didn't start. I had Ace Hardware in my city look at it and they informed me that the motor was defective. I approached DR regarding this issue and the person I spoke to, after pleading my case quite a bit, recommend a company at my location that could possibly do the repairs and not charge us because the warranty will cover it. But this company once approached by me informed me that they no longer offer warranty servicing. So now I have this bushhog i paid about $2400 for that i have never once used and DR has not helped to either refund me the money or provided me with a reliable repair company. I won't recommend buying from this company. Do not be fooled with their promise of a two year warranty! This purchase was beyond disappointing!

I own three DR Brush Mowers. The machines work as advertised. When you need parts. It takes weeks to get parts. I ordered belts and have waited over a month for what should be stock items and I still do not have them. I ordered blades and was told they were in stock. I have waited a month now and when I called, I was told oh, we have gotten behind on shipping, "they shipped today" I guess if I need parts I need to order them before I know I need them. I have order many replacement parts in the past and it ALWAYS takes weeks.

Everyone I spoke to was courteous and extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to satisfy my inquiries and even pointed out the part I needed was still under warranty. Thank you all.

The only thing worse than the product is the customer service! August 11, 2024 I purchased the DR Mower Pro Max30. with the maintenance kit and a 3-year ext warranty. $1853.48 total cost. The mower arrived 4 weeks later secured to the shipping pallet with no visable damage to the pallet or box. The mower however had several missing parts,a bent axel, with all indications the mower left the factory in the condition which it was recieved. "Broken and incomplete assembly". I promptly submitted a claim to replace the damaged and missing parts but was told the missing parts were not in stock! It would be another month before I could expect them. I noted the time delay requested my warranty should not start until the day the parts arrive. more than 2 months after the order was placed. Finally the mower was placed in service 10/11/2024. (No acknowlegement on the delay warranty date.) Over the next 20 months, the mower was in constant need of adjustments and repairs. The mower is only used on a single 1/3 acre lot. Chewed up belts,drive gears, cable connections saw frequent and repeated repairs. Poor engineeering with cheap parts and very difficult to perform basic service. The final straw came in early June of 2026. following full replacement of belts, blade sharpening, oil change, tune up etc. the engine died in less than 5 min. Though not yet confirmed, all indications are a blown engine. We contacted customer service and they directed us to a local repair shop but needed to pay them to diagnose the repairs. The repair shop has had the mower for over a month, they cannot tell us what the diagnosis is but are waiting on a reply from DR.Warranty department on how to proceed. The repair shop noted they are not a dealer or service center for the product. Yet they are the shop the customer service rep authorized for the diagnosis and repair. In 20 month of service its mowed the lawn less than 50 times. No mower, no answers, no way I will ever trust DR Power Equipment again. This company was purchased by Generac. They seem committed to damaging the reputation of both brands.

I received my brand new self propelled trimmer mower while away from my home. Used it for a day and then discovered in had internal damage caused by the delivery company. I called Dr trimmer and took to their recommended repair shop. But after two weeks there, it was still not repaired. I called them again and they decided to just send me another new one to replace the one I had. Dr trimmer was great and it wasn't there fault. But they are helping to make it right. UPS was their shipping company and they are too rough on deliveries. They either need to pack their products in better made crates, or find better delivery companies. The cardboard boxes they pack such expensive equipment in is a joke. Charge a little extra and pack them in well made crates.

I ordered the XD36 7/11/26 $6,000+ It delivered 7/17 Fantastic! Great delivery service Mower was broke. A cable had been severed in shipping. Several bolts were not tight. little concerning but things happen..no problem. Started calling DR Power Equipment technical support line. Sent pictures of the severed cable. Holly was kind and understanding. Had to email again the end of the next day. She was checking on how to fix. I sent more pictures. no response. The next day I emailed again. Asking for direction. This is her email response..."I have reached out to the leads for answers as to how to best solve this issue. I am truly sorry for all of this taking so long". I called back. Can't get through. No return emails. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. HORRIBLE SERVICE

Since they were sold to Generac, their customer service and parts distribution are horrible. I have their field and brush mower, tow-behind brush mower, and road grader. I used to order parts and get them within days. Now it takes them 2 weeks to even ship a part. Their explanation is that their warehouse is very busy. You cannot run a business using vendors like this. If it takes a company 14 days to take a part off the shelf, put it in a box and ship it, you are doomed. I am selling all my DR equipment and switching to another company.
