I reached out to Doctor On Demand in January for a severe migraine and was prescribed nine pills of frovatriptan. The medication works, and I’ve used it sparingly over several months. Now that I’m almost out, I’ve learned they do not allow refills—you’re required to pay for another full appointment. This is extremely frustrating. I don’t have insurance and cannot justify paying another full visit fee for a medication I’ve already been prescribed and used responsibly. Nine pills is hardly anything over several months. I understand safety concerns, but there should be a more reasonable process for refills, especially for non-addictive, situational medications like migraine treatment. This policy feels more about billing than patient care.

A "doctor" cancelled my appointment and the website charged me a $99 late fee. Then they charged me $99 for the appointment that never happened, and also charged my insurance an extra $99 just because they can get away with it. I contacted customer service for weeks until they finally issued me a refund 3 months later for the late fee, but they refuse to refund me for the other fee. Stay away!

2 visits within a week just needing antibiotics and blood work . The first ones service was incompetent trash . Didn't even write a summary of visit likely because she knew her service was trash Still took my money . After requesting a care review they still won't refund me stating that she still gave me care to their standards . The 2nd was a gem . She sent in for my blood work and gave me the help I needed Still just for antibiotics and labs out of pocket over $300 for a something that shouldn't have costed me nearly that much.

Will say that your cost is $10 then send you a bill 5 MONTHS LATER. In those 5 months you've been seeing your therapist weekly. Now you have over $2000 in bills from them. SCAM

Extremely disappointing experience. I used this telehealth service because I had an infected gum and was trying to get help before it became worse. Instead of providing any proper treatment, I was told to massage it and basically manage it with Panadol and Nurofen. The doctor said that because it was telehealth, he could not do much unless he could physically see pus coming from my mouth before prescribing amoxicillin. That made no sense to me given I was already explaining the infection, pain and inflammation and was trying to prevent it from getting worse. It has now been 3 days since the consult and I am worse than I was before. I paid for help and got nothing useful out of it. It honestly feels like unless you are in absolute physical distress, they take your money and tell you to just deal with it yourself. Very poor service and a complete waste of time and money.

Medication order was not received at the pharmacy. Spent 1.5 hours and 3 separate calls to get it straightened out. Now a month later I have a new medication and went to the pharmacy to pick it up and guess what? It's not there. So I don't get my medication over the weekend and I have to call and spend several hours, just straighten it out again. I brought this issue up to the doctor at the last visit but she said the only thing I can do is just pay to have another an appointment if I need to talk to her sooner.
