We've been using this service for at least 6 months and it's been nothing but headaches! My husband initially set up the account so our children could see a doctor and receive their meds. I also joined in case my husband wasn't present to help our children with their video calls with the doctor and to get their prescriptions refilled as needed. I attempted to call DOD for refills on our children's prescriptions but they wouldn't talk to me because the account was registered under my husband's name even though I also have an account with them (that I set up for this reason). I put my husband on the phone to confirm info. Had he not been present our children wouldn't have received their prescriptions. Secondly, I tried to schedule their next appointments, again I couldn't do that b/c they never saw a Dr. under "my account." So, in an attempt to have them see a doctor under my account I had to set up a payment. I set up the payment only to find out that they'd have to have another "initial consultation" b/c it would be under my account and they've never been seen under my account. Well, I'm pretty sure my insurance will not pay for another "initial visit" since they've been seen by the doctor several times now which means we'd be paying out of pocket for another "initial visit" which wasn't necessary. To me that is INSURANCE FRAUD. I've deleted my account. Something isn't right. You're telling me that DOD can't link my and my husband's account? The person I talked to also said that there was no one I could talk to either, that it was "just their policy." Horrible service! I'm sorry that we switched our children's doctor. I've never experienced this much of an issue getting my children's prescriptions refilled or scheduling them to see their doctor. I would not use this service!

This service is a complete and total SCAM
This service is a complete and total scam. They took my money, then used prior medication, and racist perceptions to judge and deny me medication i have a prescription for, and had no trouble getting from an actual doctor, because of a misunderstanding. But instead of contacting me to ask me a question, they instead decided to break the law, denying me medical care for a medication i desperately need to function, and just havent found a new doctor yet.
The bich doctor assumed i was trying to get more of a prescription i already had, when my regular script, is 50 mg, and i had filled a previous script to hold me over until i found a new doctor that was 25mg, and to keep my dose consistent so i dont get adverse effects like tiredness or a decreased effect, i usually take 50 mgs. So the script i got to keep things on an even keel, meant to the doctor, i was abusing my medication, when you can clearly check my history to see ive been on 50 for a year. I tried telemed just to buy another month or so, and they told me everything they thought i wanted to hear, that they could fill it, but also had a problem with filling my script for vitamin b12 shots, which i also have a internal dire need for, because without it, id get major life halting migraines from a deficiency, but because it involves needles, the doctor gave me the third degree, asking for multiple forms of verification, but as i answered one prerequisite, she came up with another reason why she cant do it, when ive gotten the srcipt with no issues, no blood tests, and no hassle many times in the past.
This doctor, didnt like the way i looked because she was a self righteous rac ist, who assumes all white people are bad, or drug addicts, when the medication i was requesting was an anti histamine, which i could just go buy at the store if i wanted to abuse it, but i take certain kinds for their effects on anxiety. and my script says specifically how much i take, and why.
So this doctor, a black mus lim lady with a stu pid berka, judged me guilty as soon as she saw me, based on how i look.
She took my money, and then took 24 hours to respond to her own assessment, by calling the pharmacist. She kept on trying to trip me up and find a reason, not to give me a medication thats not even a controlled substance.
She asked, i need to see your name on the same page as the script history, if she were to give me b12, she would need the test results from my previous blood test which cites that i was anemic, and in fact had a low red blood cell count, hence the dire need for b12 injections.
Did this doctor take my word and my test results? Nope, she asked for the doctors name, the lab name, the lab number, and she asked expecting me to say, no i dont have that, but i did, so she would create ANOTHER reason.
And instead of getting to know her patients past medical history, she called my pharmacist, and my pharmacist told her i had an older prescription at the time, and she made the determination, that i dont need my script, and that she didnt feel comfortable prescribing me a medication, i have a years worth of history for, from every purchase, to each time my doctor, not me, raised my dose, due to the severity of my medical issues.
This place a scam, and has doctors who make determinations made by other actual doctors, that say you are a liar, and im going to discriminate against you, based on the medication you so desperately need.
So they took 75 dollars, 24 hours of my life ill never get back, and when i had to fight them to finally call in my script, they went back on their word. and robbed me of that 75 dollars for essentially a conversation.
The doctor told me, she would help me, but it was a lie, and a doctor can not deny anyone medical service, unless they are to refer you to someone who is willing to help you. She violated her hypocratic oath, based on the simple notion that i was a liar.
Funny how it lit a fire under my b um, and i decided to go to a real doctor, that gave me 6 months of my medication, and zero judgements, or even questions. I just had to show him my history, and i got my script.
So this place, is sketchy, upon learning they would not be filling my script which was 14 days, for 75 dollars, and i got 6 months for 100 at a real doctor, I asked them for my money back, and they denied my request, citing they dont do refunds unless its a technical issue due to their shoddy app.
Do not give this place yyour money, what ever you do. They will steal it, and tell you its for your own good.
And im planning on calling the corpreate offices and reporting them to their local medical review board for mal practice.
You dont steal money i do not have to throw away, and keep it.
This place is trash, the doctor was a racist and prejudice, and the customer service is horrible.
Dont wait 24 hours for half a refill, when you can use better services, and more reliable doctors, that dont act like a sketchy con artist.

Poor service, extremely disappointed, patients deserve more respect
I unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with this provider. You may fall into the trap of not being served at your allocated appointment because of their inefficiency and consequently waste a lot of time reporting the problem and providing evidence to respond to their internal miscommunication.
To be clearer: if you do not deliberately attend the booked appointment you are charged: that is your fault. Fine. But if the doctor doesn’t show up because she resigned yesterday, (or maybe two or even three days ago, depending on the interlocutor and version), the system…, we have 70 doctors, bla bla bla… and you find out that they even booked another appointment for you the following day arbitrarily making you waste your time again for their factual errors, well, that’s you who are unlucky and an apologetic call and the possibility to rebook the appointment (sic) is the best you can expect from them.
Doctor on Demand, this is bad service and accountability should apply to both parties equally. Patients deserve more respect!

A mostly good experience with Doctor on Demand
The scheduling appointments with Doctor on Demand was easy and I never had an issue with connecting to a provider. The only issue I could say is with paperwork. If you need paperwork filled out by a provider this process can take a really long time (a month or so) because they have to send the paperwork out to have it changed to a digital format so that the provider can fill it out and digitally sign it.

The doctor was professional
The doctor was professional, but I cannot get the prescription she submitted to my pharmacy. I called the customer service and got the run around.
