I attended the Watford branch with my sister and we were attended to by Julie. I found Julie very attentive, helpful and very experience in her area of work. I had six dresses in mind. However after trying on the first dress from my list, it did not fit right. Julie picked out a dress which was not from my list, but it was just perfect for me. I could not have asked for more. It was a very enjoyable experience. Full marks to Julie! Thank you so much Faithlyn

Totally unimpressed with their products! A friend got a dress from them and the quality was poor and customer service was even worse... I guess you get the quality you pay for... thank god I found another Chinese factory that made my wedding dress!

I went in them to buy my wedding dress but as I informed them I only had two months in my disposition. I tried sample dresses that of course are not meant to fit you perfectly so when I chose my dress I was told about all the alterations they would do on the the one that I was going to have but no mention that Those would cost as more than half the price of the dress and that because I had not enough time till the wedding I would have to pay a rush fee. They said the dress would come in three weeks but after four weeks no one had contacted me so I called them and was told the dress was there already, but no one bothered to let me know. So I had to go there on the day regardless having anything else to do. When I found out about the price of alterations and also about the rush fee for which I was not informed earlier I asked to speak with with the manager and ask to have this price reduced. They were insisting that everything was explained at the first place so I had to call my friend who was with me on the first day to speak with the manager and confirm what we were said on our first appointment. Of course I didn’t pay the rush fee and the alterations price was reduced. The next appointment we booked to try the dress with all the alterations done was two days before the wedding so I was worried about what would happen so the manager said she would be there herself to make sure everything that needs to be done they would do it, that’s why they booked the appointment early in the morning to have time to do any alterations through the Day. She said I wouldn’t have to pay anything extra unless there was a major change that needed to be done, and off course no rush fee needed. When I whent there two days before the wedding to try the dress, it needed to be a little more tight on the waist so I asked them to do it. The manager of course was not there nor had she left any special instructions for my case. So the ladies working there told me that they couldn’t do it because there was not enough staff and if they were to do it I would have to pay full price for it and a rush fee as well. I mentioned what the manager said but they didn’t take it under account. So I took my dress as it was and left disappointed, but when I went home I called to speak with the other manager that was in on the day and they told me she was to busy to speak with me at the moment so I had to leave my phone number for her to call me back. Off course no one ever called me back. They don’t care about your special day being special,only for your money, so cold and buisnes face. I wouldn’t recommend at all!

Ordered a wedding dress 'special order', so 3 month delivery. Dress arrived after 2 months, with hole in bodice; second dress arrived after a further three months in the wrong size. Rejected the goods as per English law. The company accept the first dress was defective and the second was the wrong size, but they state that the Consumer Rights Act gives THEM the right to keep trying to produce the dress as ordered. They are in breach of contract, and they have consistently failed to reply to correspondence until I have used Twitter. Brides - do not choose to use Davids Bridal until you have googled 'Davids Bridal complaints' and read the awful reviews on their products and customer service!!

WHY NO REFUNDS??? Went in London Stratford and tried on a SAMPLE wedding dress. No time to buy a new one. Felt pressured I had to get one. Paid a minimum deposit for it and a belt. To return for (very) expensive alterations. Two days later I called to get a REFUND because in my pictures it looked different and not so flattering. Also too expensive. Don't want an exchange!!! Manager said No Refunds. Had no idea of that policy when I booked appointment or payed the deposit. "Just come back to try it again....." If I don't like the way it fits me, it was worn by other women so not new and never left the Store WHY NOT GIVE A REFUND??? Ohh They kept it for me for 2 days. Could only charge for 2 days out of deposit!!!!!! VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER PAYING DEPOSIT! !! I WILL get a SOLICITOR for this.

Excellent experience shopping here for a Prom dress. We were given lots of time and professional advice. The changing areas are very spacious and beautifully decorated which has a lovely feel to it. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone looking for either Bridal wear or a Prom dress. Anne P

Davids Bridal Birmingham, I can't express how grateful I am for all the help and support I received yesterday. Kristia helped us find our bridesmaid and flower girl dresses a few weeks ago and the attention to detail and she totally understood our vision it was obvious to me that when it came to my dress I knew she would be the one to make my experience one to remember and I wasn't wrong!!! I said yes to my dress and rang that bell!!!!! Tears all round including the sales manager and Kristia 😅 if your reading this review to find a place to shop for your dream dress and to have a totally unforgettable experience then book your appointment and you won't regret it!! 5* xxx
