My daughter had an appointment. We picked out a few dresses to try on. The girl only brought out the most expensive dresses. I asked for the others dresses for her to try on. She brought it out but I could see a change in her demeanor. She wasn’t encouraging her in any way . She also brought a full priced veil out. Another attendant gave us the actual veil that went with the dress and it was on clearance. I could tell at that point that she was upset because we didnn’t purchase the 3,600 dress but bought the one that was 2,600 instead. When we went to check out she never said thank or nothing to us and passed us into another girl. The total with dress, shoes and the veil came to $3,400. We were then booked for a fitting and showed up. We were never told it would cost another 499,00 to be fitted. When we went to pick up the dress the girl that sold it to us never even acknowledged us. Nobody wished her the best. It was a very bad experience that my daughter had to experience. Very poor management.

Where to start…this ungodly company in Ottawa went downhill, 700$ in alterations?? One minor let out in wedding dress and two shoulder pinches? 2ladies attended us, a third who had an iPad , all 3 had different prices, dates delivered and dress readiness?? I mean what do they take us for idiots!? Every little questions I asked there was a price tag on it!! My god you people are aweful! Never ever again and absolutely no recommendations.

I have been a bridesmaid of brides using DB twice now. I live too far from a physical location to go in person, so I have had to use there website, which is hell. Dresses that are out of stock are available to purchase, and refunds for those dresses can take 2 weeks. If you want to cancel your order - even right after making it- there is no way to do so. Their help bots are useless and hallucinate. Their user interface freezes and malfunctions - there are orders in my account that are not mine, and sometimes it just does not filter. Every experience with Davids Bridal leaves me stressed. Their dresses are poor quality and overpriced, their sizing makes no sense, and for some reason returns are not free. I would take Azazie over DB every time.

I ordered two dresses for a formal event and paid $40 for next-business-day delivery to ensure they would both arrive on time. Unfortunately, only one dress was delivered as promised - the other didn’t arrive until several days later. Since I specifically paid for expedited shipping for both items, this was very disappointing. Attempting to contact customer service has been extremely frustrating. There is no simple way to reply directly to the order confirmation or the numerous review emails they send. I even visited the website to locate the customer service email address and forwarded my previous messages outlining the issue, but I still have not received a response. I also don’t have time to sit on hold for a phone call - there should be a reliable way to resolve issues through email. I’m giving two stars because the dresses themselves were beautiful and good quality. However, the lack of communication and poor customer service significantly affected my overall experience. Given the shipping delay, I believe the expedited delivery fee should have been reimbursed.

The customer service was great. The only reason I would recommend using David's Bridal is because they make you pay for alterations before the alterations are completed. Also, the amount of the alterations was more than my dress. I haven't ever been anywhere that this has been the case

Very disappointed with a recent call to customer service. We had a decent experience at the store 2 weeks ago trying on wedding dresses with my daughter. She picked 3 she liked the best and we scheduled a visit for 2 weeks later to make her decision. When we went back, we again had a good experience and ended up ordering the dress. I mistakenly did not look at the receipt until the next morning because of the excitement of her finding her dress and realized we had been charged an extra $250 for the dress. When I called today they told me there was a corporate price increase the night before our second visit. I asked if they would be able to honor the original price since it had only been 2 weeks and I had a copy of the original price tag. I was told that corporate said they would not honor any pricing before the increase which is very disappointing with such a large price jump!

I bought a bridesmaids dress online because I don’t have a David’s Bridal location that’s easily accessible to me. The dress was just a little too small. I initiated an exchange through the text feature. The exchange process was easy. The customer service was really quick and very nice. However, they never informed me (nor does it state clearly on the FAQ page) that I would be charged AGAIN for the second dress AND also pay for the shipping! “Placing a new order of equal or greater value” does not indicate to me that I would need to purchase another dress. I also didn’t have to pay for shipping the first time because I purchased a pair of earrings and I qualified for free shipping. Now I’m in the hole for $250 as I have to wait almost 2 weeks for my money to be returned from the first dress - which will be $14.99 less than I paid for since I had to pay for shipping to return it. It is deceitful to offer an exchange process but then make people pay so much money up front. Online buyers beware!

The return period is way too short and never clear enough. A week to decide a special occasion dress is a yay or a nay is too quick. Some people need to contact family members to help make important decisions... ESPECIALLY FOR ONLINE ORDERS. Stores have old technology (slow and problematic) and poor-quality stock.
