Hello, I’m the bride my appointment was set for 3:00 with my bridesmaids, I was told to go and look at some wedding dresses, I found a couple that I liked that we had took off the rack, One of the workers Approached my daughter-in-law with a attitude saying we are not allowed to be holding the dresses, she could have approached us nicer, and also at the front desk, they should have let us know we were not allowed to hold the dresses, Beautiful store but I gotta say they need more professionals I still got the dress and the lady that did help me was really nice.

I would recommend for well-priced dresses, accurate measurements and the alterations department. I would not recommend David’s Bridal for a first wedding dress appointment as mine was rather rushed, I came in on a week day but still had to share my appointment with another customer, I was able to try on multiple dresses around 15 in an hour. The assistant measured me correctly and the sizes fit perfectly but the dresses they did not have in my size they did not help to make them fit better as they would do in another store. They didn’t have a good range of dresses, mostly all covered in lace with similar fits. In the end I did find the dress I wanted, I brought my dress from David’s Bridal online from America as the store in London was reporting long wait times for dresses, it arrived easily and quickly from the USA although slightly more expensive due to taxes but does not come in a dress bag. I came back to the store to get my alterations done, the fit was perfect after the accurate measuring during my appointment but needed the sleeves altering which costed around £150, they were not pushy during the alterations they offered a few alterations I did not want and gave me the costing of these, around £100 for a 2 layer lift of the hem. Alterations took 4 weeks and no concerns at all on my follow up appointment.

I went to the UK, Stratford branch and can say it was a very hot and cold experience, It was extremely busy and I found it hard to concentrate on any of the dresses I was looking at and while my stylist was helpful choosing styles I was interested in towards the end. I felt the exposed area of the shared "try on" area was less personal for the bride in question. While I did try on dresses that were nice, I store overall has a "discount sale" vibe which is really upsetting when shopping for such a special dress for the bride. The prices were all over the place and it is hard to gauge if budget is important, the prices were roughly from (£400 - £2,500), dependent on the style and detail. Plain and less detailed dresses are usually cheaper. I was happy this was not my first experience dress shopping as I would have been very overwhelmed and probably quite upset.

I was able to find my wedding dress at David's Bridal - staff at the London branch were helpful. After the dress was bought, it was shipped to me due to the pandemic as shops closed. However, once shops opened up again, I was not offered fitting services, which had been promised previously to allow a bespoke fit. I had to spend extra on alteration services which included sewing down some parts which had never been sewn on due to not having a fitting opportunity. I was told that there would be no fitting services from David's Bridal. Text on fitting services were also vague on the website.

We went to the David bridals in Flint, MI and I believed the young lady's name that took care of us was Amanda but I'm not sure. She was great She answered all my questions She helped me look for the dress I told her what I wanted and she found it for me. What I was not happy about was the manager. She's a tall thin blonde. All she did was over talk the person I was trying to saw me the dress and I almost walked out. I wanted to tell her to shut up and leave the girl alone she's doing fine. Every time the young sales lady tried to help me just blonde had to put in her two cents. She was acting like this young lady could not sell and she was doing a fine job there's not one complaint against the sales lady. I have talked to a couple other people that have gone to the store and they 100% agree with me. We will not tell people to go to the store bubbly blonde needs to go. I would have given you a five star because of the sales lady but because of bubbly blonde you're only getting a three.

Even though there were a few hurdles along the way, for example, the alterations went really wrong. They did manage to correct it all in time for the wedding and in very short notice. The manager and the staff were very very helpful and made me feel very very special and important. KK

Overall experience was great as we found the dress. However, it would’ve been better if our actual stylist helped us find it. Olga did not allow the bride to try something out of her comfort zone/ a wild card. She went with the reference that was showed in another bridal store which I understand but the whole reason why it was not purchased at the other store was because it was not the one.. it was all a waste of time until Israel came along and picked the dress that the bride took home. Thank you to Eni, Ferdireca and the other lovely short lady with the black curly hair and thank you Israel for choosing the ONE!
