This follows my very positive review dated 15 May 2021. How different my experience is now that they have gotten my money. After I purchased two beautiful dresses, I heard nothing. I was told at the time of ordering (15th May) that delivery of the dresses would be expected in august. I attempted to call the store in Birmingham twenty four times on 22nd and 23rd August. Only after messaging David’s Bridal UK on Instagram was I called back by Shannon at the store. The dresses had arrived an undisclosed time before this date and nobody had notified us. The excuse quoted was that my name had been spelled wrong on the order form. This can only have been due to an error by the staff at David’s. Since then, my bridesmaid has tried dozens of times to get through to the store to make an appointment for her alterations. Nobody seems to know who to arrange this with, and she is not being helped adequately. It is nigh on impossible to get through to the store when you try, regardless of which extension you attempt to use. This is unacceptable and infuriating. I am only 8 weeks away from my wedding and neither of my bridesmaids have even been able to try on their dresses, never mind begin their alterations. I am disgusted and deeply unimpressed.

Amazing experience. Staff was very helpful, especially Lottie. She was very helpful, speeding around the shop for us and a very cheerful person. Helped us find the perfect pair of shoes. ☺️

I’m still waiting for a bridesmaid’s dress to be delivered having put a rush order through (for a delivery within six weeks) at the start of July at the Westfield Stratford branch. The order contained two dresses, one came within three weeks but the second seems to have gone AWOL. I’ve spoken to four different members at the store and no one can tell me where the dress is. I’ve been told that it is UPSs fault but when I queried whether the dress had actually left the warehouse no one could confirm it had. I’ve been promised multiple callbacks from the store which have not happened. I also contacted their customer services team via email only to be told them can’t help with shipment enquiries! What kind of customer service is that? At this rate we’ll be looking on the high street for an alternative dress, just what I need with a month to go before my wedding. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

We visited the store in Watford with my younger sister who was looking for her wedding dress along with my my auntie and mother. Julie was helping us through out and she was absolutely AMAZING! She was so pleasant, she listened to everything we wanted in a dress, she showed us options she just made the whole experience so wonderful! She really helped us bring the wedding day to life with adding on additional things to help us decide and bring it all together! Honestly she was just fantastic and I can’t thank her enough for making it such a wonderful experience! Thank you for helping my younger sister’s dream wedding dress come to life.

This was the worst experience ever and I’m not even the bride! My friend went to have her dress altered so many times! The dress had been altered by so many different people and they could never get it right to the point the dress was ruined! Seven days before her wedding David’s Bridal Buckhead Location, said all they could do was give her a dress in the store which none were as nice as the one she had originally! The CSR was so rude she told us (We have reached a crossroads with this situation and you need to pick a dress and leave because we have other customers that do not need to hear this! So pick a dress and leave! ) (CSR - Emma is her name to be exact) that is awful to tell a BRIDE! She had no choice but to take a dress she didn’t want, they didn’t even offer to refund her! They said giving her another dress with free alterations was her compensation! Brides Beware!!!! If I could give no stars I would!!!!

I visited the shop on 14/08/2021 with my daughter, who was very anxious to go wedding dress shopping being a plus size bride. We were greeted with a welcome reception and attended to by Margaret (Mags) a lovely lady who guided her through the process and made her feel at ease. After trying on a few dresses my daughter found her perfect dress...quiet emotional, even having the shop staff teary. The experience was so positive we decided to book a return visit for the 16/08/2021 with her 4 bridesmaids and purchased their dresses with the help of Claire. Nothing was too much and Claire helped the 4 girls in finding the perfect dress that suited all of them. I would recommend this store and it's staff for the welcome and positive help and advice received. Staff were attentive, helpful and listened to what we asked for not what they tried to sell you. Most of all if you are a curvy bride they did not try to put a dress on that was so small it made you feel bigger like others we had visited. Thank you Mags for treating my daughter like your own.
