I was given the WRONG medicine by CVS and would not accept it. It was not what the doctor had prescribed. The pharmacist decided to substitute another drug.I reported it to corporate and they tried to tell me it was the same drug (it was not) and the next time I went to pick up a medicine once again the pharmacist asked me why I was taking it. I finally told her that I have a doctor in charge of my prescriptions not her.

There could not possibly be a WORSE drug store, pharmacy or customer service company. Absolutely incredibly incompetent and hugely overpriced. have been trying to get an issue with my account remedied for MONTHS. Last call was 1.5+ hours long. I was told the problem was fixed. Next time into the store - ABSOLUTELY NOT. Had to get back on the phone with customer service. After speaking with rep with HUGE LANGUAGE/ACCENT BARRIER for what seemed to be an eternity, had to be transferred to Supervisor. Still on hold after 15+ minutes. Rep has come back 4 times to tell me to continue to wait. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL COMPANY!!! My next step is to contact my doctors and have them rewrite all prescriptions so I can get filled at Costco. Will NEVER patronize this business again.

I paid for a medication online using my cvs app January 14,2020 for my wife that cost $137.50 along with another medication that cost 23.71 total was for $161.21 and She didn't take the medication when she went to the store because my wife had a coupon she uses. They put the medication back on the shelf. So, I called 1800 number associated with CVS on January the 16, 2020 to get my money refunded and It's now February 17, 2020. This is not right by any means. The CVS store verified with the CVS Pharmacy online office that my wife did not take the medication at the counter. They have yet to refund my $137.50. I'm looking into other actions as I right this review with my General attorney's office. I feel that they are trying to hold out thinking I will forget about this situation So,They can keep my hard earned money I can use to pay other bills with.

Horrible customer service!! The pharmacists at CVS are great given what they have to work with, but I always have to wait at least 15 minutes to talk with one. And now they play CVS ads the entire time you're on hold. They often put prescriptions on auto-refill even when I tell them not to. The ones I WANT on auto-refill never get put there. And when a prescription is ready, you'll get repeated robo-calls to tell you. The problem is the calls don't tell you which prescription it is that's ready, so if you're waiting on for example three prescriptions, you'll get a "prescription ready" call, drive in to pick it up, and the other two won't be ready. I HATE CVS. I'll be pulling all my prescriptions and moving them to our small local pharmacy where I can actually talk with an individual and where they actually care about my business.

I’m sad to add that I hope you never need to actually speak with anyone on the phone at the Boiling Springs location. I placed a complaint about a month ago. My wait was about an hour. Today, I received notification that a refill had been completed on a prescription that I never asked to be refilled not do I have it on an automated refill. I’ve tried to call again and was on hold for about 20 mins...nobody ever answered. I guess it will have to sit on the shelf for a while which I didn’t want to happen but I can never talk to a real person or have an email to use.

I go to the CVS on Harbor & Adams in Costa Mesa. They are the worst! It is frightening how incompetent they are. They have given me the wrong medication. On many occasions have been oit of stock on a medication.They keep filling RX I didn't ask for. They once called me every day & one day called me 4 times to fill eye drops I no longer needed. The latest is I called in a refill when I called 2 days later to check they said in process. Now on Friday night when my doctor is closed fot the weekend they tell me they didn't hear back from the doctor. They last tequested 4 days ago. Stay AWAY.

My two year old was diagnosed w Flu Type A. Prescription for Tamilfu was ordered at CVS. Upon arriving to pick up the script, I notice the liquid Tamilfu was not flavored. Knowing that my two year old does not fancy liquid aspirin tasting medicine, I asked for it to be flavored. I was told they do not flavor the medication, and was asked if I wanted it or not. What!? Needless to say, my two year old did not take the medicine and has been a waste of the prescription. I called other pharmacies, Walgreens, Publix and Walmart, and sure enough, they all flavor their children’s Tamilfu prescriptions. Even offer multiple flavors. I will never, nor my family and friends shop or obtain scripts from cvs. What a joke and lack of compassion for sick children. Save your time, and children’s health, by going elsewhere.

My doctor called in a prescription at 3pm and it wasn’t ready until the next morning. I don’t blame the staff but I blame the greedy corporations for not having enough help. You have no choice but to go there. Things have to change if customers complain to the insurance and government. I pay for my insurance $700 a month and this is the treatment I get. Feels like socialized healthcare with a fat expense attached.
