Turning Into a Walgreens Which Is Horrible
I stopped shopping at Walgreens because of the same situation I am experiencing at CVS. CVS has the coupon machine in its stores that allows you to print out coupons for special deals each week. In their weekly ad they advertised an 8-pack of Meta bars on sale and offered a coupon. I went to the store and per usual was met with the empty shelf, no product so I spoke to a cashier who advised that I may not get a raincheck, but I asked to speak to the store manager who said I could get a raincheck so the cashier called for backup to have another employee issue the raincheck for me. As the employee was writing it, she mentioned that this offer will expire before they will receive the product and I will not receive the coupon price. This sounds like a racket to me and so this is the reason for the review. This isn't the first time they have done this, thus happens every week with their sales ad. Something needs to change and my suggestion is to order more product in anticipation since the ads are made up a year in advance or face losing more business because the customer voice is very loud and won't be silenced.
